the new block (called S. Rajaratnam block) opened on Thursday. with some useless loud music and speeches and cheers. how much trouble did they go through to set up the speakers, n then keep them half an hour later?

the new classrooms kinda own and suck. own cos of the space. space to play soccer (with a floorball) and other illegal games. sucks cos a teacher caught us playing through the totally transparent glass window. and in general, they are very dirty. the NEW block is already looking quite old, with the unfinished cement and dust on everything.

n the poor guy hired as lift operator. have to sit in the dirty box all day, greet teachers, then press the storey the teacher is going to, as if teachers do not know how to press 0o. the lift is very unfinished btw...

then on Friday during English, we found out that we have to stay back to listen to a talk by DAS on the SE-GE merger. n guess how long it lasted? 20 mins. we stayed back 40 mins for a 20 mins talk, which wasnt quite as informative as Mrs Smith's in class. n how ironic, mrs lim remarked that some of us were very late, when the speaker was 5 mins later than every1 else.

CT2 is around the corner...n there is always double the stress and anxiety than wat u experienced in CT1, although they have the same weightage. it's the time when u find out u have been playing too much, or that ur assignments have all gotten low marks simultaneously. hope that my geog retirement village scores high...i got 9/20 for drama performance process...totally unfair when ppl like jiehao can get 13. i mean, he score high for portfolio can lah, then u expect him to be marked down for process, but he didn't.

the lecture by Phil Ho during CLE on Monday proved nothing except that sometimes what you achieve in life are TYCO. can u imagine MNCs hiring a "lecturer" who speaks bad English and states obvious things for $5000? i shall be polite and not talk about his English, which even caused Mrs Sylvan to grimace behind his back, but as for his presentation, really common sense. ok fine common sense to RI students...he gets his business from other people who go bankrupt after becoming millionaires.

RE Congress today rocked! putting aside the factor of no-lessons, i seriously think i learnt quite a bit. the concurrent session we went to was Creative Arts, the most exciting & engaging! musical performances...video/flash clips...chinese board game 0o

i hope Age of Empires or wateva doesnt sue Shawn Neo's group for entirely koping the melody (which they can actually). the hardest thing in composition is actually coming up with a new musical idea, so Remus' group should have placed higher than Shawn's group.

the myopia with flash video should have won! they put in so much effort...1000+ photos, and the finished product is very professional. their English is much better than how people stereotype Chinamen's english to be.

poor Thomas Chuah...post offensive remarks about teachers on blog...muz make apology -.- i dunno how offensive those remarks are...if they are only mildly offensive, i muz say to the guy who reported and backstabbed Thomas - you suck. if they are really offensive with no ground at all, then too bad lor.

n i wonder whether i should flame the 2 hour 15 mins RE Finals. the teachers didnt even inform us that it would happen n the DURATION, technically we had the right to leave. but teachers r teachers, they hardly apologize -.- i was fukin pissed off at the amount of time wasted, and still am.

anyway, about our play production on Monday, it totally owned 2J's n 2K's. unfortunately, if u visit their blogs, some of them say that theirs was better, or that ours only MIGHT be better than theirs. what a horrifying lack of logic -.- a starwars play that had 10 mins of darkness/silence, followed by bad speaking and storyline.

what an oxymoron. how can you be slack before an exam? but that's exactly what i'm experiencing, with all CCAs stopped and less assignments given out.

on Friday the Sec 2 MEP students performed at the Atrium...most were kind of acceptable...but there were 2 performances which were obviously screwed up, and to be honest, not fit to be labelled as music. One was Shawn Sim's guitar accompanied by cello, yes the Atrium's acoustics suck so we couldn't hear the guitar, but you can also tell that he hadn't practised enough.

The other was the totally *ahem* duet by Kern Choong and Wei Rong. so spastic, a few days before Wei Rong was telling me that KC was very lousy and lacked practise, then on Thursday KC put in his MSN nick "DID WEIRONG PRACTISE?". As it turned out, both of them didn't practise, or rather, they didn't practise TOGETHER (only once). totally screwed performance...im gonna be damn pissed if Ms Shen gives either of them more than 30 marks (which is already quite good considering the fact that they paused for each other more than 10 times).

on Friday had to stay back to watch the mainstream's Julius Caesar plays (cos Smith forced us to)...but i soon realized that a lot of ppl juz went home -.- i was really amazed by the standard of their posters...way better than the GE classes'. however the play itself needed some work...lighting n sound screwed...bad voice projection...bad diction (our script is quite professional thx to Leon n whoever else). most of all...all 3 classes' (2A/C/E) scene trasition were noiser than ours...like elephant stampede.

n i still thought that our class didn't know how to walk quietly. but still, we have to improve...cos the screen moving and table carrying is like a zebra stampede (not as bad as elephant!).

firstly, i heard wrongly - 2D was in our group, not 2P. secondly, i nvr expected our class to screw up so badly, especially the keeper n defence. no point tokin about how we crashed out at group stage...i tink its even sadder for the no-longer-defending champions 2F. i hope 2K dun win...if they do Alvan will stop boasting n suan-ing...

anyway, Arts@theAtrium performance this friday. im pretty sure we will screw up...of the 5 or more times we have met up, we have juz been running through n running through, making the same mistakes. no1 is taking charge, although i point a few things. i can only hope the cello n viola practise n Ms Shen marks fairly -.-

Gundam Seed Destiny has ended. now there r no more NICE (Gundam Z/Wing/etc are CRAP) anime to watch. comparing Gundam Seed to GSD, i think GS is a lot more detailed & thus has more emotional scenes and flashbacks. i think GS is nicer, but GSD got cooler machines.

i dun understand how ppl can even say that Pokemon or Digimon or any other shit anime is nicer than GS/GSD. maybe cos they don't watch the storyline or miss out the cool battles. i mean, Earth has a 25%-50% chance of turning into what it is in GS: with lunar n space colonies etc. WHEREAS, there's no chance that technology will ever allow a dragon to come out of a spinning top, as in shit like Dragonball Z.

anyway my violin exam is tmr...i got nothing to lose. i certainly havent put in exceptional amounts of time in, all i want to do is pass n stop doing those 3 boring pieces -.-

inter-class soccer is on Friday, n the new format rocks! with a group stage first, each class can play at least 2/3 games b4 getting kicked out -.- but 2L will get through. sometimes its not the players that matter, but how you play.

i strongly believe that we have a chance (at least 20%) of beating 2F, if we meet them (in the finals). but, juz like how Man U can beat Real Madrid then lose to some shit club, we got to get through the irritants (2P n 2Q n 2A) FIRST.

oh fuk...i totally 4got about MEP concert review...got to quickly find a concert. but no worries, its so easy to get full marks...juz follow the format.

next Monday i got no CCA! Mr Sze so kind let those takin' violin exam to p0n rehearsal. but i dun really see what i can do with the time, i won't go home n mug my pieces -.- oh ya...Trevor Sze became a delivery man for McDonalds :D helped us buy McChickens and Apple Pies from J8...deliver to RJC on his motorcycle, free of charge. aiya that day should have tagged along with him for a free meal at Cafe Cartel.

other undone stuff - cut hair, buy new shoes (especially since inter-class soccer is coming up!)

ok...i havent posted in a week cos im having so much fun. went LANning with RISE on Friday, we played DotA for 5 full hours, n it was damn fun cos every1 except me, Yuze, Matthew, Jon Koh, Xiangyu and Adriel were noob. but some parts also pissed me off alot too...like some pros feeding on (bullying) noobs, and some noobs refusing to listen to advice, keep on chiong n die (final score 1 kill 30 deaths).

oh ya...that crappy English Portfolio was so hard to do cos im Sound and apart from getting sound i cant reflect on anything...i will probably fail. and i didnt notice that to pass one of the sections in the rubrics u need a CONTENT PAGE.

but the hols own. only rehearsals on monday/friday, Merchant of Venice techinal rehearsal on Tuesday. hardly any homework except for Chinese (muz read a book). too many fun activities to choose from...on Wednesday got Rosyth gathering and RISE BBQ at the vice-chair's house. unfortunately also got violin lesson at nite...so i think i have to

1. miss the Rosyth gathering (which is bloody pointless)
2. go for street soccer near David's house from 4-6
3. then go to his house for the BBQ
4. go for violin lesson
5. maybe go back to BBQ -.-

wah 1st day of Sec 2 Special Programme damn exciting. sit in LT listening to GEP department head's lecture on a topic with breadth n depth like a teaspoon so exciting. go to class and have discussion on fantasy watch so exciting.

ok first really got to thank the first non-sucking-up-to-Sze exco batch...i was about to get pissed off cos they overshot the break by 5 mins n kept changing the dismissal time from 5:30 to 6:30 to 6. but luckily they were playing soccer too so the full 30 mins break was preserved. however i was a little pissed at how they overshot 6 o'clock, then i realized its cos of the teachers (who kindly let me go for my violin lesson anyway)

wat m i saying? that im a slacker n want as short a rehearsal as possible? NO. there r other ways of improving the music aspect of RISE without having bad habits n attitude problems like Sze has. there has to be a balance between results n justice -.- so i hope this exco can make that happen.

anyway, 2day we played soccer while the "commandos" went for 5-stations retest. wat a joke game...own goals by kern choong n bryan <---- IDIOT) stupid blunders by Daniel Wei Shen n many more. although we lost 2-10 i wouldnt say they pwned us cos Jie Hao's goals all resulted from noob mistakes from our defence/goalkeeping.

ok congrats to the new RISE exco...although i have some doubts about some of them...good thing Adriel Chang is chairman.

now i remember about the wallet i "lost". not a small amount of money inside + EZ-link card + housekeys...but a malay lady perfectly demonstrated honesty by returning it to RI office. i shall avoid wearing PE shorts to J8 from now on cos i will put my wallet on the table/chair n then 4get to take it.

i thought the concert was good. we all did. but we were terribly wrong, from the point of the view of the audience. i think its because the mistakes were made by the winds. if u hear them go out of tune, you go like, omg *squint ur eyes* but u think that its only a individual error n overall it would be OK. however when u make mistakes urself u go like "omg screwed".

hmmm i wonder how we r going to screw up in Carnegie Hall New York. if i even have the money to go...YO is going to Aberdeen n the cost is $2500. im in a dilemma...should i have gone for the $3500 MEP trip? sure when u look back u find it fun, but a cheaper trip with YO for real music...worth it?

i hope RI subsidises the New York trip. anyway, we r representing (n embarassing) Singapore school ensembles. but wat the hell? which other school performs such difficult works with guest winds n soloists? hardly any, not HCI ACSI Nanyang (also conducted by Sze). i think RISE is still the best out there...5 years only but with a strong legacy left by those who started the CCA.

newspaper collection was fun (really...) n we collected quite a lot of stuff...enough to make $50 (LOL!). very helpful to Vietnam students hor...the only spoil-sport was Bryan Tsui, refusing to use his trolley n brains properly.

then 2day CLE on respect he come n say i stuff grass jelly plastic bag into his bag. wtf? either its some1 else, or he juz likes to twist facts (thats y hes so hated). i only TRIED hanging it from the zip of his bag, n he found out immediately n tore it out, so wat stuffing is there behind your back? u r juz fat n juz cos the trolley is urs u cart it around the corridors waking ppl's pets up (who wake the ppl up).

anyway...this week is "super-slack". 3 days free...but actually got science project n CCT to study for. but the worse is RE...final product, final report n powerpoint all due this Friday.

TMOV trial...1st time Jeffery screwed up, 2nd time was only a little better. The prosecution didnt do much...only make things difficult for defence. True enough, I learnt more myself from the preparation than the actual thing (which was bad). supposed to do 2 or even 3 characters...in the end only got time to do 1.

annual cross-country meet...quite fun lah. i got in 28th place cos of stitches - 100 Plus may be nice (especially Tangy Tangerine flavour) but its too gassy...H2O Original is a much better sport drinking. but its my own fault for having too little will to bear with the stitches...then could have gotten a medal. still, it was fun to sprint past 5 people 200 m from the finish line.

Mrs Lim Er Min is smart...she noes that we dun take 4 weeks to do an assignment, usually we juz slack for 2 weeks then last 2 weeks start. so...this geog assignment due in week 6. disaster...summore RE got to work damn hard to finish our product, n science project needs a lot of practical work (building structure).

anyway...i screwed up my RISE assessments. or rather, ben lee totally pwned me n Daniel...Mr Sze so crazy ask for weird scales n spiccato...somehow i got shortlisted for the "concermaster n principal 2nd violin" position. maybe he still has some faith in me to carry on the legacy...

MEP concert was good...although some of the chamber performances were crappy (eg. ACSI's guitar trio). the orchestral pieces were cool...although some of the performers say it was actually damn screwed up. perhaps i have learnt that things sound better to the audience...if u make a mistake its probably not so bad. only thing is, RISE is so bad u cant hide ur mistake.

Mrs Smith totally screwed the whole class for handing in the epitaph for Shakespeare "late", when she didnt even say the dateline. n although ben yap was smart enough to say stuff like "so? u dun do see wat happen to u la" when i told him on MSN on Sunday that the dateline wasnt given, he too smart that he told JL "so? i not going to school tmr" yesterday night...so 2day nvr hand in (super-dead).

so many topical assessments recently...i screwed the maths one...should have figured out 1B earlier...science one was easy...geog was average...some things i didnt study. most crappy thing is that i changed A and B cool temperate to warm temperate instead of changing C to D Mediterranean...so of course my answer for that question wrong

all sec 3 soccer players suck. especially the GEP, but the mainstream r not much btr. we took the astro at 12:30, 3 of their players come at 12:45 n start playing. i tell them get lost, they whack the ball at me. then this retarded shorty Jon Lim starts moving the goal posts into position, i ask him "why the hell r u doing that, we arent going to let u play", he juz continue moving.

then finally all the sec 3s come n swarm the pitch, we were forced to play with them, cos they block the whole goal. why muz things come to this, y cant Alvan n Matthew n every1 else help to chase them off? they juz stand there looking pissed n tell me "wah lau dun want to play with them la", n they arent doing a single thing. im the only one using f-words on the sec 3s.

anyway 2day RISE screwed up the Open House performance. obviously too bz practising for concert, only spent 1 hour on 4 pieces. n Mr Sze still toks about long term, recruitment...zzz wat an embarassing performance im sure can inspire any1 to join.

YO concert was a success...although im currently very screwed by Mrs Smith for not telling her earlier...how would i know that she was in charge of the swimming thing? she suddenly became a lot more involved cos if we go n support then we would be missing her 12:30 period.

History project done...quite successfully compared to others. Thomas Oh from 2M, bastard slacker, RE nvr do anything, then tonite say he havent even tot of an idea for the history creative product. IM SURE! 10 hours b4 its due n he tinks he can come up with an impromptu product.

n RE is super-screwed, shi min, who toked so much b4 June holidays, saying he wants to do the guide cos its the FUN part, hardly added any useful strategy. im going to have to cover for him this weekend...

oh ya...2day there was this "inspirational" talk about the Rafflesian Spirit by Senior Deputy Headmaster...aiya all common sense. when u try to put morals into words, it MIGHT inspire, but for some like me, i feel more like executing it. demonstrate through examples...yet humans only wake up in the face of disaster. there is no better allusion to this than Gundam Seed. yet if world leaders watch it, can war really be stopped? do we even need COUNTRIES in the first place? if every1 can agree like HUMANS, n not retarded baboons.

zzz i noe i havent posted in a long time...caught up with world cup, rehearsals and history project.

Cafe Cartel rox man...on Friday JL treated me ben yap n shi min to a $15 budget free lunch cos he didnt do anything for the last history project on immigration. the food was damn good, explains why we had to wait 5 mins for a seat...cant believe fluke companies like Jack's Place can prosper in comparison with Cafe Cartel.

on Sunday night went to Shi Min's house with Wei Shen to watch World Cup finals! unfortunately, shi min had to borrow a PS from his cousin which only has 1 crappy soccer game...so we played that same game for 2 hours until jie hao (who leaves next to shi min) brought his X-Box over...play Halo n some racing game. but then Jie Hao actually preferred to stick with his mother n her friends n Shanghua (from 2K) for the World Cup...so after 1 hour he went back n we had to resume the crappy soccer game.

2 words: Retarded Zidane. he deosnt suck though, cos France would b much worse off without him, hes juz retarded to get sent of f like that. on a positive note, at least they finally view TV replays b4 making a decision.

compared to last year's, this year's RIPB is...not say better...but more whacky. World Cup in RI...DotA Competition (so i heard)...Daredevil...now day off for World Cup final.

but practically, it hasn't done much. ok im generalizing...cos the stupid Soursop can machine kope 95 of my cents...first i put in 20 cents...the display nvr light up, so i tot maybe not enough money...put 50 cents more in, still nvr light up, then i tot oh shit got problem...so i press coin return, 50 cent come back...dying of thirst refuse to give up, put 50 cent back in....oh shit stuck, try to get 50 cent out with another 20 cents...stuck again!!!

RISE camp was uber fun...the best of the 3 i've had so far...lucky mr sze didnt spend 1 hour explaining each game's strategy...n the movies were good, especiallly PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN (r0x). oh ya, although the standard of soccer is lower than that of last year's, somehow we had more participation...ppl like Shawn Chang (damn gd defender) n Sam Toh staying back during mealtime to play soccer.

Night games were fun too...first night got this tail-pulling game called DotA...damn cool. but that night slept at 2:30 am (would have been later if gay Mr Ong didnt stop us) Our room stank like/of SHIT (literally)....Tim stepped on dog/cat/FISH shit n didnt bother to wash his shoes, AND HE DIDNT BATH FOR THE FIRST 2 NIGHTS.

on a sadder note, sch is back. seriously, its the 1st time in 14 years i miss the hols, cos its been a great n memorable one. MEP Europe trip, RISE camp, and the most obvious daily DotA playing.

In a flash, the 10-day trip to London/Paris is over (and around S$3500 gone with it).

London was much funner than Paris, in the sense of the places, people, food and culture -.- well basically everything. The Royal Albert Hall was really damn cool, a century-old hall that can actually hold modern pop n rock concerts, dinners, AND TENNIS TOURNAMENTS. i always thought that the Royal Albert Hong - (oops thats the mistake alot of ppl made) Hall was mainly for classical concerts.

We watched Lion King, The Woman In Black and Market Boy in London. The first is a nice musical with cool animal costumes and "touching" storyline. Unfortunately it was on the first day which lasted 37 hours long cos of the plane flight, and thus all of us were half sleeping. But still managed to catch the cool song "Can you feel the love tonight?"

The Woman In Black is a damn scary play. i say DAMN from the perspective of some sissy girls led by Ms Aruna Johnson (none of us had any idea wat she was doing there with RGS girls). as for me, i was laughing with Dom Seet at the screaming girls n Zhiyuan (who screams damn loudly). if it comes to Singapore, u had btr watch it!!!

Market Boy has at least 100 fucks inside. seriously. Dom Seet (pure Christian) found it disgusting. but for 10 pounds, it has crashing vehicles, flying people and *ahem* R16 scenes. no lah j/k, but wat would a couple hidden in the back of a van do?

the only cool attraction in Paris is the Eiffel Tower. actually i think its the best attraction on the trip, but Paris juz stinks cos of gypsies who snatch ur stuff, people who speak French (or rather dun speak English), and stinky food (snails which probably cost 20 sing).

i figured out that the Eiffel Tower would be a lot cooler last time, when the staircases and lifts werent installed for tourists. there would be a lot more empty space in between the steel...hollow and cool. now the eiffel tower looks completely filled. and damn we didnt get to see it at night time...its lighting is damn cool in pictures.

Charles: sec 3 SE from band, friendly and cool, but likes to bid up to 4/5/6 in bridge (sabo his partner)
Li He: ah, a friendly sec 3 GE soccer player at last. he agrees with me that some of his soccer-playing batchmates are losers. Choir, alto -.- a bit gay la
Yi Nan: sick sec 1. y sick? cos he keeps switching back to channels 4, 14 and 38 (even after Miss Shen banned those porn channels). but hes quite cute anywayz
Adi Widjaja: spastic elephant with a spastic name. always lags behind, eats 1 whole chocolate bar during the concert, does not admit to his mistakes, and talks to no one (basically meaning tokin non-stop). at the end of the trip we were calling each other "jaja" in replacement of "dumbo", or "-tupid" or etc.

RISE camp coming up! i hope Mr Sze does not spend 45 minutes explaining the strategy for night games...really pisses some people (me) off...

well, myRIad wasn't too bad. some people said RICO was the best (unbelievable) while others said the choir...all i know is that RISE pulled it off once again, n that RIGE was the worse...around same standard as the handicaps -.-

im leaving for the MEP/AEP trip to London/Paris from 5th to 14th of June...this trip is undoubtedly super expensive (3.5 k at least including personal expenses), 350 dollars a day. maybe its because we are paying for the teachers o0 or maybe those stupid instrument museums charge 100 dollars per entry!!!

but...im excited lol. will undoubtedly feel nauseous n maybe throw up on the SIA flight (first time taking super high class airline)

my computer monitor spoilt, so have to use old one, so the resolution is different, so I CANT VIEW MY OWN POSTS PROPERLY!!! now i noe why some people say my skin is screwed, or chopped off.

contrary to 90% of the sec 2s, i think Malaysian Montage was stinky. It was not bad, but it certainly wasnt unforgettable. maybe it's juz my disgusting group that has mainstream gays calling each other "hotties" and joking at the back of the bus damn loudly.

Mini Malaysia was OK...not an eye opener. wat else would u expect kampongs to be like? the dances were nice though, although some people doze off and the mosquitoes were pissing me off. the arcade was damn fun...but lacked the usual standard racing game that most arcades have...the one by the sea, with no cars coming from the opposite direction.

toking about arcade, Jian Xiong (the prefect from 2J) was damn...u could say lucky. the game like streetfighter allows u to continue playing with the comp if u win, until a new challenger arrives. so, i n some other sec 2 geppers kept challenging him, he kept winning, n in the end he won 13 times, played for half an hour straight ONLY ONLY 50 FUCKING CENTS!!! i spent 5 RM, on the other hand.

straw game on the beach was damn lame, dun see y waste 2 hours on a cool beach to do something totally unrelated to water or sand. sandcastle n mermaids were fun though. heard that ben lee n barry (totally opposite sizes) were mermaids :)

in the afternoon even worse, fuking lighthouse trek. the exercise was quite fun, until it came to the swimming. get ur shoes wet n full of sand juz to experience the experience of a non-existent hero? what hung tuar n his footprints on a rock, more like 2 rain eroded holes.

FRIM canopy walk nothing special...i tink i went to one at Taman Negara b4, n that one was longer, n basically...cooler. Chinatown seems like Singapore's one, except the teachers make the pickpockets sound so scary

wah the final game supposed to end up the montage on a good note, however it was shit. juz tank the fucking water bombs, thats wat Jeffery did, TEAMWORK MY ASS!!!

me, Jie Hao n Shi Min got 2nd place with 8 wins out of 12 matches played! Hi-five man -.-

the reason? at first we owned, won 3 matches in a row until we met Balu's team from 2F, drawed and both teams had to leave. we were in high morale, then lost 2, drew 2, damn sad. finally decided that the problem was Shi Min, so i attack with Jie Hao, Shi Min stone in defence, then we won 5 matches in a row!!!!

k lah admit the 2 losses i also screwed up, but the 5 straight wins is defenitely cos im btr than Shi Min at passing n that sort of stuff -.-

Mr Sze is bein' an idiot, trying to kick me out of the concert juz cos i miss 4 hours of rehearsal for the Joga Bonito. firstly, those r like the only 4 hours i have skipped CCA, n its for a good reason some more? u see other CCAs p0n like siao...

secondly, im good enough not to require those last few hours (cos i not last min). and u noe it too, u juz not happy cos i dun want play for VJC concert, which is totally unrelated.

im fucking skipping the Joga final to rehearse b4 the concert, so show me some respect in return.

prediction of overall GPA for sem 1: 3.5

Geog paper got back already...22/30. that's a bit of a disappointment, but at least above average...which is 20.something. I explained long story to get back my 5 marks for the SimCity reflection, cos i wasn't there on that day and had to do it at home, so 3 days late minus 50%. then i realized that it wasn't 5 marks, she had kindly only deducted 10%. so i got my 1 mark...GPA still 3.6

AND...the briefings for Malaysian Montage getting really luo suo. so many times talk about the same things...itinerary...warnings...objectives. sianz...but i wonder if headmaster would have been more engaging than Mrs Lim Er Min.

oh ya 2day NAPFA 2.4 got a time of 10:30. there was this uber fast guy from 2D that sprinted like siao on the first lap AND MAINTAINED IT. imba shit. however cos Samuel started at the back n so many ppl blocked him at the start, and Jie Hao wanted to slack, and Wei Shen wore the wrong shoes, i came in first :) phew got gold...next year even harder

English - 18/30. as bad as i predicted but some others who did from paragraphs 2 to 7 only somehow got lower (mebbe cos of compre). that is...60%. my prediction is spot on!!!

Maths - 32.5/50. i 4got my prediction in my MSN personal message but if i remember correctly its 65%, which is spot on again!

History - 20/25. yeah the whole class did well; got 10% higher than predicted

other news include me missing chemistry CA 4.0 by 0.6 marks only...
Poem Anthology got 118/140. Smith counted wrongly n gave me 128 but i 4got to tell her ;)

Obviously I have been too busy playing after the CTs were over that I 4got to post.

Predictions...:

English: 60% - I seriously screwed the summary writing. Didn't realize that it was paragraphs 2 to 7 only >.<
History: 70% - First 2 questions were good...until I realized that I only had 10 mins left for the last 8 mark question.
Geography: 75% - Overall quite easy...I even studied extra (Blue Revolution not tested)
Chinese: 75% on the surface it looks damn hard, but when I counted the maximum no. of marks i could lose (worst case scenario), I realized can get more then 70%
Science: wh00t my mugging for Chem has paid off. Didn't know that asterisks were bonus questions so juz did them -.-
Maths: Ok screwed. I didn't know graphs were tested (haha shit right). One of the questions which I thought was testing graphs was actually simultaeneous equations.

i have been spurred by indignance, anger and sense of reason to post again.

this morning supposed to arrange tables. first thing i do, i followed the instructions of the announcer at assembly, who said arrange in rows of 6. of course, we have 3 rows of 7, so what do u expect but lots of reshuffling? and in the middle, i telling Jeffery to move back so that i can move some tables. then suddenly i hear my monitor shout "Jinghui move ur fucking table lah"...shout that a few times.

look here stupid monitor, answer these few questions and see if u have a conscience:

1. did u ever notice then YOUR first row has only 6 tables, that's why it's so easy to arrange?
2. did u ever think of stopping to think and look at what im doing?
3. did u realise how stupid u sounded when u told me to split our tables apart, when there was ABSOLUTELY no space cos the 3 on the right side of the classroom had already split, n that 4 of our tables were stuck?
4. did u realise how spastic u were, when u shouted at me the 5th time to shift into the space bside Jeffery, when that space was so fucking SMALL IT WAS THE SIZE OF A TABLE? THAT IS TO SAY, IF I SHIFTED INTO IT, THERE WOULD BE NO SPACE IN BETWEEN OUR TABLES AT ALL

For once Leon n Derwin were quiet, cos they were doing some work. n Derwin really irresponsible, nvr do Chemistry, i wrote down on the rubrics say Derwin nvr hand in, hope Mrs Neo doesn't penalise all 3 of us.

eh RISE is screwed...less than 5 rehearsals left n the 3rd/5th movements sound like shit. 2day i was contributing to the lousiness cos the air con was damn cold i couldnt even more my fingers!!!

Tuesday MEP - class performance. i screwed up the 4th note already...then remembered the worse thing that can happen, n which happened to a lot of people, is to RUSH. so i tried slowing down n pulled it off, getting a miserable 37. actually that's GPA 3.6 but MEP's supposed to pull my marks up...thus im aiming for 4.0

Yesterday n 2day we watched the movie of To Kill A Mockingbird...a lot of events are screwed up/missing...only nice thing is the eerie music. Still, Dill looks ugly while Boo wasn't that spooky. In fact, the sheriff had a stern face that could have been Boo...

Yay 2day finally got chicken rice from the area outside the music labs, after drooling down the balcony the previous period, cos we were staring at the sec 1s eating prata, hash browns, Subway and of course chicken rice at the circular area below us...

eh 2day's RISE sectionals was quite fruitful...mainly cos we stayed back 30 mins extra. so 45 mins standing around at atrium organizing our people (cos raining n very hard to go RJ)...then shift to admin block classrooms...the half an hour overshot time was the time wasted during sectionals tokin cock n pissing Dom Seet off -.-

so 1.5 hours of full practice...did the whole 5th movement. actually it has nvr been the 1st violins that r worrying for Dvorak...other sections r worse...especially 2nd violins.

1. Me n Shi Min have always been kicking the ball around carefully. usually it's people like Wei Shen who come n in kick the ball into ur pepsi-cola space for fun.

anyway the fvcking sec 3 Geppers 2day come n claim that they took the astroturf first (when 2M were there early n saw no one)...this time we were unlucky cos they gathered 50 people n juz started their own game. only thing we could do was pump their ball out (which i did once, n Alvan smashed a ball straight at the Zheminator)...but useless lah...fvcking prefects within them like Jerome n Koo Zheng Xuan dun even do anything.

during CLE did some peer evaluation thingy...found out that one of Shi Min's concerns is to be recognized as the best DotA player in class. Wei Shen supposedly beat him n keep calling me noob but i still dun tink he n Bernard from 2M r that pro...

the concert was good...made a few mistakes but none bigger than the celesta's.

so weekday night rehearsals over...can blog more. 2day's mask making was quite fun...we (shi min n I) were so frightened by Mrs Smith's threats that the edges will crumble that we reinforced like siao n forgot to make horns or other stuff. anyway it wasn't as dirty as i thought, cos the clay came in rolls of thread. n of course, sharing a bucket of water to push hands with 26 other people is OK cos all the clay sinks to the bottom n the waters stays relatively clean.

Mr Shahrom either forgot or didnt want to check our RE files (although he said he would)...so yay i escaped 2 weeks in a row. in case u dunno, we r doing research on DotA n our finished product would be a guide to the basics of DotA. the craziness is seriously spreading through the class...some people play 2-3 hours every night (worse than Shi Min)...i wouldn't dare to & i won't want to anyway my eyes would pop out.

haha today my team owned at soccer! at first the other team had lousier players...so we went 1-0, then 1-1, 3-1, 3-3, 4-3, 4-4, 5-4, 5-5, 6-5, 7-5, 7-6, 8-6 END. excitement sustained throughout the game...even though Balu (or however u spell it) joined their team, our high morale still stopped him from scoring (got 1 time he 1 v 1 me cannot score)...final team line-up, our team 6 players, their team 8 -.- hey that corresponds with the score, except muz flip.

RISE was boring...damn sec 4s got to leave early again cos Mr Sze want to work with lowers secs...i tink he has a problem n he's sorta pissing me off but nvm...

Guest conductor arrive liao...he's quite good...n we had a nice (catered) buffet after the first rehearsal with him on Saturday...played darts in the room and you won't imagine the number of holes in the surrounding board and walls (caused by horrible shooting over the years).

Today for computer studies Ms Xu juz spent 1 whole hour "preparing" us for the NSW Comp Studies quiz, which frankly, im not interested in and will probably fail. all those chim stuff about motherboard, programming etc...r too chim -.-

Mr Mustafa didn't come so FREE PERIOD!!! went to library n realised from Barry that ERP is due next Thursday OH NO-Z...

during CLE did some alma mater thingy...i had to go against my true feelings n said yes, i wanted to help. wat r my true feelings? that im super busy, i dun really know my juniors that well, and most importantly, they won't NEED us or WANT us -.-

After school took life from Remus and went to CCAB...string sectionals from 4-6, eat dinner at the Prata shop, rehearsal from 7-9. The Prata shop sells semi-cheap and tasty food (80 cents for each prata).

rushed to YO yesterday...what a crappy rehearsal, cos NO STAND!!! i long predicted this (since we accepted 18 new violinists at once), but it's still shocking that i had to sit 2 metres behind the previous desk n pop my eyes out. screwed up the Brahms...n the conductor got angry at the absent winds. wah lau, next time they absent let me use their stands lah!

anyway i think 2day's Atrium performance was OK although i screwed up some parts, but as usual Mr Sze always has something to say. F him lah, kept us back to 7 PM WITHOUT A BREAK. he worked with lower secs for 1 full hour n the upper secs could totally slack. wtf??? anyway the 2nd violins muz go practice...

after school played soccer...starting laughing n screwing up at the start but defended well later...then went back to class, had to ask cleaning lady for key or else can't get my instrument -.- then remembered i didnt take my wallet, went back to astro where some1 returned me...how honest :)

then left my wallet in the room after rehearsal -.- kind vice-chairman found it...

anyway 2day's PE supposed to do 3 rounds...but i decided to do 5 since it's nearing NAPFA. passed Tsui on his 3rd round while i doing 4th round -.- after that went to gym to practise rugby tackling (on judo mats)...Samuel was so scared n didnt dare to tackle, or be tackled. but i really scared of getting mud on my shirt when we go to the field leh...

then, English. Judgement Day for our scrapbooks...i got scolded badly cos of my small book size...gah will transfer to A4 paper. Conan's craziness (3 whole jotter books) paid off as he got praised...

a double post juz to let u all know that it's the 21st of March, n also how DotA LANning went these 2 weeks.

the first week i really had trouble finding people...in the end could only find 4 out of my list of 6 people...Terence WAITED for me to call him on Sat night then say cannot go. Shi Min even more bitchy, agree on Sat night to go, then Sun 10 AM (1 hour b4 the thing) say dun want to go, busy. i bet he juz thinks that it's too much trouble to take bus all the way from Changi juz to have a boring 2 v 3 game...he juz doesn't want to admit it.

anyway i teamed with Brent n we lost cos Brent was playing for the first time n Ben Yap fed on him with Bone Fletcher (the strongest n most imba hero in DotA).

this week got 4 people...until 1:45 when Shanghai came -.-
he was supposed to come at 1 PM but he was 45 mins late...fuk him? i sacrificed half an hour of LANning time (which equals to $1 since 1 hour costs $2) WAITING for him at Kovan MRT...
but anyway we played 2 games n i lost both >.<

havent done much homework...only around 40% completed. but Monday n Tuesday i will last-min complete dun worry (if u r). i dun get wats so difficult about the TKMB scrapebook though...seems like no more than 5 mind-maps needed...but Mrs Smith n Barry made it out to b a lot of work...wil call him tonite to clarify.

2day some "prefect" was late for RISE (overslept)...how irresponsible. he even thought of PONning the whole thing, isn't that like, tou gong jian liao? i mean, he finally got there 1.5 hours late, out of the total CCA time of 4 hours, obviously better than being "embarassed" and missing 4 hours.

missing LANning cos i have no money, gotta save up for Sunday's LANning with my classmates, n cos im procrastinating. wats more, made worse when i spent half of yesterday reading Terry Pratchett...a very enchanting book (that he wrote).

YO concert is only 2 weeks away n every1 sounds like crap...i tink Mr Lim is gonna b so kind this time...might kick some people out. look, there aren't even enough bloody stands!!!

some idiots in RISE today pissed me off.

Yeo Shang Xuan, the "prefect" whom i voted for, pulled down my pants in RJ right down below my knee. im not embarassed to admit this, cos HE'S the one who should be. a fvcking prefect who gays around. n afterwards, try to sweet talk BULLSHIT...obviously does not know how to leave people alone, thus his gayness.

i noe u r probably reading this, but too bad it serves u right. i have already tolerated u enough...first coming on astroturf n catching the ball for no fvcking reason in the middle of our game, JUZ TO ASK WHETHER I WANT GO J8. n ur fvcking classmates, we let them play with us during recess, n during lunch they say "who want to play with u?"

honestly ask urself if u would pull down Ben Wee's pants. wtf lah. n u better not post on my tagboard with ur "sorries" n spam my email (which u already did). learn how to avoid people n hopefully everything will b OK on Friday.

NOT a good time to do that, especially since i was pissed with yeos...i went up to him n seriously juz pushed him on his chest...wished he had fallen down. but he was certainly surprised...said that Cheng Han bully him...total BULLSHIT. i hate people who dunno where they stand n try to bully seniors...furthermore act SELFISH during soccer n pump the ball nowhere.

but my visit back to RI was ended nicely by a nice person. Chengtian, the 2nd violinist, said bye to me when i walked passed him. which means a lot...cos he's probably the only sec 1 who would do that. anyway he's juz as i predicted when i first saw him...i tink he should replace Jonathan in first violin cos he has a much better posture and does not fake. not only does Jonathan stone, but he also tries to fake...2day he had NO BLOODY SCORE but SOMEHOW (note sarcasm) he "played" the whole 1st movement. he was so good that Ben Wee thought he was playing for 2nd violins!!!

even nicer things...my scoreline at the end of 2day's DotA game was 15-1 i think. OWNAGE WITH RIKIMARU...i went beyond godlike with 14 straight kills. what's more, our team only had 2 people against the opponents with 3 people, n 1 leaver on our team actually gave all his items to them b4 leaving. but somehow, we won. actually they weren't very good cos they didn't suppress my early by buying wards...but i consider this game a milestone in my progession.

we came in first for track n field...thx to our individuals like Lu Wei and our relay racers...but muz say that our sec 4s r a disappointment...or izzit that Wei Shen's bro is too pro? no wonder we havent won in 16 years

after track and field went to eat @ S11 with Ben Yap, Wee Ping, Geoffrey...and then took taxi together to North Vista Sec School (to watch debates), or rather...4 km from there -.- apparently Nigel Fong's drawings of Sengkang confused Geoffrey who directed the taxi driver wrongly n we ended up near Punggol. walked to the nearest LRT station to take LRT down. my first time taking LRT...its quite cool n seems faster than MRT although its much slower (cos of the windows?)

hope Mrs Smith learns a lesson...never force ur classes to go support debates...result: 50 of us cramming in 1 small CLASSROOM. n the north vista also...cant even find a bigger venue. but cant blame them cos there r around 5 concurrent debates. of course RI won but like the judges said it was very stagnant...

yesterday at 2 went for grade 8 theory exam...saw Yu Zhou (from RISE) n Benjamin (from MEP)...the paper was quite OK but it's almost impossible to get distinction (90/100) for grade 8...hope can get merit (80)

after much hassle finally convinced 4 other people to go LANning...Terence was "irresponsible" n WAITED for me to call him then say he cant go...as such the DotA will b 2 v 3.

got 18/20 for history...which is not bad but still quite far bhind in class as our class is the highest among all Mr Shahrom's classes (which is all 6 GEP classes)

geog was damn disappointing...11/20...mostly because i didn't quote or give examples from the source...should have been more clever since the questions were phrased like History questions...could have gotten at least 15 with a few more words per answer.

Chinese test was OK...again hard to predict marks for cloze passage and summary writing. but the rest were easy...i dun get y the teachers give us so much stuff to study n only do a mini 5o mins paper that tests less than 1 sheng chi from each ke wen.

2day 4got to bring sketchbook to hand up comic strip...not like i finished it :P
but we got a new teacher, Ms Dee, n in the new SOVA module i suddenly have a reason that accounts for around 20% of why my drawing sux...im left-minded (language based), so not accurate enough. yet right-handed people like Derwin r in AEP...so the other 40% is cos of some other genes...20% cos i wasn't really taught how to draw properly...last 20% cos i give up half the time.

during lunch the sec 3 GEP were acting like a bunch of bullies n refused to leave the astroturf till 1:50 bcos they claimed that one of their guys were there at 12:30. in the first place, how the hell was he there so early, secondly when we went there no1 was around. the first sec 3 appeared at 1:45!!!

im sure if i report them they would get into trouble...but benefit of doubt i shall give...1 more time and they r screwed. btw they used a lot of vulgar language at me when i politely asked them to leave!!!

finally succeeding in organising DotA LANning for my class but if there's no suppport...all my efforts would b wasted

i cant believe this...juz managed to cancel my violin lesson to study for Chinese CCT and Grade 8 Theory...then the stupid extra lesson for theory shift to tomorrow, THE NIGHT BEFORE CHINESE. muz study six ke wen and 65 cheng yu, how to study all in one night n one afternoon (tonight n tmr after MEP)???

anyway there's better news...26/30 for my Maths, better than expected, but i could have gotten full marks without careless mistakes...n the bonus question was easier than i thought. Geog will be returned on Wed. 75/106 for chi yu kao cha, quite good considering i only studied b4 assembly n during class interaction time. anyway the big test is 36 hours away!

doing game maker project with Barry Tng lolz...i shall provide the ideas n he do the technical stuff :P we got a little too ambitious, planning for 10 levels n 20+ rooms!!!

during CLE we did CEC meeting...i suggested more class outings but apparently every1 rather slacks at home...juz found out how hard it is to even organize a FUN LANning session.

Arts@theAtrium, Remus' string quartet performed again, n sadly it was worse than last week's. Remus was a bit out of tune n Dom Seet was usual plays a bit choppily. even during rehearsals when he demonstrates a piece with the other section leaders, he often slows down n his tone isn't very good...as Mr Sze points out.

2day Samuel asked me, "hey ur blog is inactive right?" i went like WTF. after further probing i suspect that theres an idiot whos imposting me and his last post is in January...wat a disgrace. i juz searched yahoo but couldnt find anything...really hope this imposter doesnt exist and samuel made a mistake. f*** this guy seriously...

anyway got 51.5/58 for my chi yu kao cha...which is not bad n tied 2nd in class...but im pissed cos its NOT COUNTED IN CA (like i said in previous posts) thats juz unfair...then those people who dun bother studying may get higher in their chinese cloze passage or comprehension (which u cant study for) and get a higher GPA than me.

2day's history CCT was OK...i should be able to get 14 or above/20. Mr Chow was very kind and postponed the 2.4 km trial run during PE (which was b4 the test) so that we wouldn't b tired. The most costly mistake muz b that i didn't realize it was political IMPLICATION (negative)...so 1 of my 3 points was reduce friction between British n Dutch (positive).

during lunch bought 3 sets of potato wedges which are very nice...but after the 2nd pack got a bit sick so drank bubble tea with it. seriously dun get the point of those tasteless pearls that can get stuck in ur straw!

MEP: Ms Goh not much to teach so wasted 45 mins on Bryan, Hongrui and Gerald's practicals. Bryan failed so we (Ms Goh asked us to vote for sympathy) agreed to let him retake the test last week. Gerald got 1 mark lower than Hongrui at 34 marks...so quite disappointing. Hongrui going for Grade 7 piano on Thursday but his piece still not polished shiny...

wah taking Grade 8 Theory on 11 march...so recently there have been extra lessons besides the standard 3 hours/week...juz went from 7-10 pm n hence this late posting. really busy but once Chinese CCT n this test is over...can look forward to DotA LANning during the hols. i already sent out mass mail via Yahoo! group to organize LANning/eating!

really nothing much to say today.

during CLE we did History instead...2nd time Mr Shahrom has implemented his mixed lesson of responsibility and Raffles. the video was a bit boring and i felt quite sleepy...but even then remembered more points than Joshua n Ben Yap (my group). they juz kept saying Singapore was full of vice...and couldn't understand that THAT was the problem, not the CAUSE of the problem, which we were supposed to answer. finally got Mr Shahrom to convince them...

during lunch played with sec 4s for a while then got kicked off the astro cos they came first n wanted to play among themselves...went to field n did some random kicking. remembered that philo was next so rushed back to class but Jie Hao was not so lucky. actually, he was very lucky that Smith was in a good mood n did not keep him out of class.

2day's lesson once again proved that English teachers CANNOT b converted to Philo teachers by Mr Low's lectures...i really miss the days he taught. after 1.5 hours on Kantian Theory i still dun understand the 2 formulations...n Mrs Smith doesn't want to explain word for word wat it means.

then CCA...do u consider kicking a bottle cap around until 4:30 fun or boring? Mr Sze came back from Antarctica (seriously) and had a loooong meeting with the exco...i expected the rehearsal to end at something like 6 but somehow his procastination has been reduced by contraction due to extreme cold temperature -.-

The irony of both a good and bad day.

bad day cos our class ball almost got confiscated by a RJ teacher cos we were playing in the hall with it. however, we seriously pleaded n pleaded until he said he would give it back next week, but i was quick to suck up n say "thank you sir" -.- so he returned it immediately.

could have imagined Jie Hao n Shi Min screaming at me...or spending $27 to buy a new ball...2nd option would have been more likely cos i cant juz lose the class ball like that.

good day cos we didnt play soccer with sec 3s!!! so, the game was quite exciting until 2:30...then the mainstream started joining n GEPers started leaving...in the end the game was killed when Daniel n I (the "ball bearers") left for CCA...which leads to the RJ thing.

anywayz...geog test yesterday was OK...but juz like comprehension, u never know what the teacher expects of you. its quite ironic that question 3b only takes up 5 marks but i can bullshit on the answer 4 times as long as the other 4 mark questions.

then afternoon for Prefects' Investiture...quite OK lah but bcos the dining hall isnt very well equipped for these type of stuff...the whole thing wasnt as interesting as last year's...in which the whole hall was turned dark (if u remember).

back to today's recess...Subway sandwiches sold at arts gallery...at a whopping price of $2.90/$3.80. cant really b considered a meal but still more expensive. n bcos of the madness every1 nearby was talking n not giving respect to the performers...really disappointing.

I got 25/30 for Science which is better than i expected...yay

Maths was OK but the concepts of questions 2 & 3 were taught very long ago so i almost 4got...but i tink can get around 75%

jump to oral comm...i cant imagine listening to all the common sense for the rest of this year, although Mr Yeo (izzit) is a lot better than Mr Jeeris. But a good teacher can never excite people with a boring subject no matter how many stories he tells (which is a lot).

After lunch was science...experiment on inserting jellyfish gene into bacteria...to make it glow. the steps were quite clearly explained by Ms Quah so no problem...but our bacteria might die due to a few screw-ups.

took taxi home with Jing Xian n JL...paid $2 plus, which is worth it. all u need is play soccer during recess/lunch n thus skip buying food, then u have saved up the money. also discovered that if u going Kovan cross the road to take taxi...can save u at least $1.50.

first period was comp studies...i got 75/100 for the quiz which is better than i expected... since i juz copied the sample game in the G drive to my K drive, renamed it and submitted it as tutorial 2. its really retarded since the 2 games r exactly the same, Ms Xu should have changed the graphics or something so that we will do the proper way, from scratch, n learn all those terms.

then maths test was returned...14/15. as predicted in the earlier post the mark lost was bcos i didnt label the sketch.

Geography...the other 3 groups presented...of course Barry's group was the best, but i tink my group is around the same level XD. some more, his fruity rice is so full of fantasy...what durian mangosteen orange rice???

The Iranian movie __________ (4got name) was screened during CLE...supposedly a lesson on responsibility. when the lights were turned off SOMEONE (Derwin said it was Leon) made a cat-ty sound...well sounds like what Leon's type of person would do. anyway at the end Mrs Lim said we were a disgrace n walked off, so we didn't noe if we were dismissed but naturally every1's hunger called them away...but i was studying chinese.

Chinese test was OK...the ke wen fen xi was quite hard cos i was absent (frigging sickness has more influence beyond science) but the cheng yu section should pull up my marks...might get full marks there. Leonard was so blur that he didn't noe that there was a li jie wen da until 5 mins from the end -.- (then he had to stay back n do)

RISE...last day with Mr Chan. is that a bad thing? he's definitely more kind than Mr Sze, but also more eccentric, at least to the others, not to me cos im used to it every lesson. but the virtuosic Paganini piece he played at the end really impressed every1, even the pro sec 1 Kevin.

It's ironic how every1 near-idolises him but still makes so much noise when he's talking. that's where Mr Sze is needed. discipline o.-

Science test was OK...but i tink i get at most 24/30.

recess soccer was fun...i scored a goal...

as u can tell i dun want to tok much cos its been pissing.

Maths test was good...but bcos i didnt label the sketch i might not get full marks. Labelling a SKETCH? isn't that contradictory? besides there was only 1 line so nothing to b confused about...

then lunch soccer...absolutely pissing...Alvan wanted to play with the sec 3s althought we could have played with ourselves, but its not his fault, its theirs. they juz come in, dun give enough people to us, n pass among themselves, pwn us, then give chance n make it boring. it was 10 vs 9...n since we only have 3 sec 3s on our team n they have 9, the result is obvious. after that, they refuse to leave n stay there until a 2nd game conmenced, but that game was very slack n no1 bothered running.

2nd pissing thing was Jerome the prefect...acting like an ass n trying to stop us from playing soccer in RJ in school uniform? helloooooooo its out of RI damnit!!! n its during CCA, do they understand the fvcking meaning of interaction n bonding??? actually we could have juz continued playing but to be smarter n trick them, we played inside the hall where they didnt notice. anyway that was juz a one-off visit to RJ due to track heats, they wont (dare) go there again.

i felt like telling him, "if u can book us now, go n book the person who purposely smacked the ball into Hong Fei's face a few weeks ago. u were standing by LAUGHING even, not meddling in ur friend's affairs, so why the hell go out of ur authority now?" even Shang Xuan another prefect was pissed off.

3rd pissing thing is irritating people in RISE, namely Zhiyi and Benjamin. Benjamin finished 80% of the chips that was for the whole SECTION, n not that im petty, i wouldnt have minded not eating cos i went the whole day without food already, but he didnt even ASK whether we wanted, n still laughed. he might b light-hearted but u take selfishness + joking during sectionals n its no go. Zhiyi of course was acting the usual idiot taking my pencil n refusing to return, then scolding me. wtf??? Daniel was LHFAO.

Andrew's team pwn us at softball during PE...then Mrs Smith's lesson, she seemed to be in a good mood...let those people who help keep PE equipment n were late come into class. but that didn't stop her from checking our worksheets of course, n i got a few blanks so got to stay back n do...but i decided to juz do during recess n show her, she found some other blanks but i tink i was dismissed so went home to eat lunch, but got quite dizzy on the bus cos of my hunger. in fact i was feeling a bit bad during assembly also.

Geography presentation was a success, cos our smooth n more importantly COMPLETED presentation was in contrast with the other groups. i say completed bcos the other 2 groups couldnt finish talking b4 time was up, Mrs Lim sure is strict with her alarm, exactly 10 mins. especially for Geoffrey, Wee Ping talked about nothing but the dire state of India for 2.5 mins, i could tell he was screwing up like he screwed our RE. then Geoffrey went on, i tot he would know better than to talk more about the natural disasters, n get straight to the GM food, i was signalling to him no time liao...but he still fell under the wee ping degen aura (kidding).

Assembly was a LIVE broadcast of the Red Cross first aid demonstration at the atrium. i really pity the teachers for not having any ideas to spend our assembly periods on man, they have to make us watch the same boring skits again...

anywayz...backtrack few days...Chinese test on Monday, all the normal stuff was OK, but u got to know, this year they added stupid stuff called ke wen fen chai, its like u have to STUDY the units in detail, Chinese Lit basically. n cos i wasn't here on Friday, so i didn't get the notes for that particular dan yuan that was tested, so i dieded. should get around 70% at most

Tuesday...NE Talk. well it was quite interesting, partly bcos of the funny n dumb questions some people posed. apparently Mrs Smith has such a long regime that Major Lien also got screwed by her...but that's not surprising. Some people like Nigel Fong were rude (as said by Smith after) and asked questions like what if they juz march across the causeway, every civilian give 1 rifle?
hellooooo??? then juz use bloody machine guns or wait till they reaching the end then blow it up? i bet there r more bullets in singapore than the whole population of malaysia (duh).

during lunch ate at dining hall...which food is seriously improving -.- ...shan't go into lengths

then MEP...got 16/25 for last week's test (see my previous posts)...a bit disappointed. Then, realized i forgot to go Arts at the Atrium, now they have made it f-ing compulsory for us to attend all the other MEP levels of Arts@Atrium, bcos apparently our performances last year were horrible n we needed to learn from our seniors. which is quite true, all the "wind players" like leonard and bryan were not very good with their band instruments...n we WILL LOSE MARKS if we do not go for the next 6 performances (heng this 1 i missed not counted)

where will my Friday recess soccer go? :(

anyway finished all the WS super-early n played soccer with a circled (1 end stuck into the other) straw...against Hui Yao..."laugh until die" was our term for every week's soccer, cos using a spastic ball juz makes it hard to kick...Hui Yao fell down twice n Gerald captured it on his phone XD

then 2day...recess soccer was super-fun, we chased those MASS sec 1s off the astro turf and won 4-1. lunch was a poor comparison...we only managed to get 3/4 of the semi-D, which was already good, cos we came later than sec 1s but bcos they didnt play for so long we juz shoved em to 1/4 -.-

oh yar english test was OK. i died during Armageddon of the Reincarnation...wat do u expect im at 4 mil NP catfishing (a special job of staying low, among others like ranking n spelling) n this guy whacks all my units off from 21 mil NP. u muz noe that in the last 24 hours of TR, known as ARMAGEDDON, all attack restrictions r taken off. meaning u can hit ANYONE, even some1 150 mil NP below ur power, n that u can hit him TILL HE DIES (damaged mode doesn't kick in).

we basically lost the war, but it was 2 guilds vs 1. next reset, TWR has some very interesting plans!

yesterday went to Ben Yap's house to do Geog project...GM peanuts XD

omg his house is damn big...i think he's a millionaire...first thing u see is 3 cars in the driveway...well-kept garden with water features...then when u walk in the whole floor is marble, high-class furniture...the very wide door of the room we working in is totally made out of glass. got 1 computer in there that shows all the LIVE pictures of security cameras around the house, including the room itself (crap 4got to look around for it, maybe it's disguised as a book)

well the meeting was very successful, not bcos we were time-efficient, we played games half the time, but bcos it was SO long, u play game for half the time also got 4 hours to do -.- i n Joshua came in the morning, i left at 12, Jie Hao came at 2, i went back at 4 (after YO) u might guess that since Joshua n Ben Yap stayed the longest, they would have done most of the work, but of course that's wrong -.- once Jie Hao came he was made to do some parts...while they played some maps of DotA.

coming to the maps...including Extreme Candy War (2004/2005), some Tower Defense games, a worm war, an easter bunny thingy (havent tried) lol my favourite 1 muz b the Extreme Candy War, u control 1 hero juz like DotA, except that u have to push 3 flag-carrying monsters into the opposite base to win...if they could transfer the heroes from DotA to this game, it would b the best.

came back home n asked Ben Yap for the maps, downloaded on MSN, then realized i already got -.-

i fell sick n skipped school for the first time in...muz b 4 years. both happy/sad, cos i can play DotA and clear up homework i have procastinated on for days, but i will miss out on lessons, especially science where the genetic terms r so confusing, i cant afford to misunderstand.

i was feeling very cold in the classroom like Andrew yesterday, n when i took my temperature, it was 38.4 degrees C, not very high but also got sore throat n cough...(n like me Andrew didn't go to school 2day haha)

hmmm after so many days 4got wednesday's events...but i noe i scored an own goal in a match against the sec 4s. i still maintain that it wasn't my fault, cos i was defending against 5 strikers, the rest of the team were slacking up there n didnt even try to run back. n i also mantain that if i hadnt tried to clear the ball, they would have scored (wat chance has the keeper against 5 of them?)...wat actually happened was the ball was crossed in from the left n i tried clearing with backflick of my left foot but dunno wat happened...everything moving so fast.

missing RE now...last week Thomas sick & absent Shi Min n I said he slacking...now they say i slacking sighz

PE was screwed...first run 1.6 km...i came in first although i was walking, sprinting, which is the totally wrong way of doing 2.4. juz tried it for fun (of course wei shen n Daniel were slacking, or i would have been 3rd). then during softball Wei Shen screwed up the whole game cos he thought his team was getting trashed, n purposely pitch damn high n knock himself out...n when he discovered that they were only losing 2-4, obviously didnt show his embarassment...but still got scolded by Mr Chow.

dining hall now want to save money...only sell leftovers from recess during lunch...so when i when back to buy a 2nd hashbrown...sold out liao.

MEP was boring...firstly Ms Goh came in 15 mins late...then we spent 50 mins analysing a piece that we did last year, n the WORSE of all, we did a test based on that piece (WHICH WE DID LAST YEAR, 1ST DAY AS DIAGNOSTIC). wtf??? so damn repetitive n sianz. n the break was only 7 mins long lah.

oh yar i muz NOT 4get to mention the choice of title for 2day's post. it's not to insult, in fact im OK with Barry, but it's juz...shocking! lunch soccer again anyhow play...thomas n shi min were trying to do tricks very unsuccessfully make us laugh like shit...i dunno how many goals i scored...at least 2 i think.

then RISE...Mr Chan Yoong Han came as guest conductor...n we obviously gave him a bad impression. firstly, our lessons end at 3:15, and most of the time the teachers end late, and it takes 10 mins to walk to RJ, so the rehearsal only started at 3:40. secondly, bcos his conducting was a bit weird (hands vibrating between beats), David couldn't stop laughing, n laughter IS contagious...so quite a hilarious disaster. then, Mr Chan's teaching style involves a bit of drama (n thus shouting) to carry out the atmosphere of the music, n David BLATANTLY asked him, "sir, can u stop shouting? it's very loud".

wats his damn prob? of course Kevin (vice-chair) screwed him during the break.

ah...the song sounds so much nicer on my speakers...the dumb class speakers r screwed.

2day history written assignment constituting 40% (i think) of the CA was returned. it's really pathetic how the teachers assign the marks...40% to a test with 3 questions n can b finished in 30 mins -.- i got 10/15 (cos of the SBQ)...meaning my GPA is screwed.

during PE played softball...our team lost cos we placed 3 lousy batters in a row...all 3 struck out. i wanted to come after Derwin but nvm. however it was a good match...i was outfielding n caught 2 high balls, knocking out 2 batters (yay).

after that was English...TKMB getting more n more boring everyday...thats y Mrs Smith zoom so fast n completed 3 chapters 2day. omg 3 worksheets 2 do...n still got "TKMB Scrapbook". actually it's a good idea, but she should have told us b4 Chapter 1, n then every1 of us get a scrapbook, n as she goes along, jot down. now have to go through myself n scared i make mistake.

Assembly was chao lame...House Meeting 1. all they do is stand up there n talk cock about glory, n Steward (house captain) isnt half as inspirational as Adnan (last year). n they kept us back for 10 mins to record who wants to take part in which track event. i didn't take part in any...wahahaha.

my guild has finally seen the light in The Reincarnation...killed more than 10 people in 3 days...of course its 2 guilds vs our 1 guild...but coordination is the key thing!

on Tuesday went to Sentosa for a few hours...the Carlsberg Sky Tower was quite cool...but the hefty ticket price of $10 might put you off...Sentosa Luge is this go-kart track down a hill...would b fun if not for the pissing "assistants" that stand by the track n shout "SLOW DOWN!!!"...wtf man...if u go, dun 4get to use that kind of insulting glance n roll your eyes.

2day had surprise maths test...very surprising indeed cos Mr Mustafa switched periods with Mr Shahrom tomorrow juz to "surprise" us...but i dun think half of us would have studied anyway? of course the topic was graphs n i finished the test in around 10 mins...yay Mr Mustafa said he *thinks* that i did well.

hmmm Geog is getting more n more pointlesss...we did most of the agriculture stuff last year n Bryan wastes class time by dragging the journal sharing to 30 mins. but Lim Er Min is really quite entertaining...soon becoming one of my fav teachers?

during lunch played soccer with 2B...cos i 4got to bring the class ball after pumping it at home, for some reason Matthew/Alvan didnt bring 2K ball, n 2M's ball got confiscated by Mrs Smith ("aha!") - they have since gotten it back.

omg i really FORGOT to blog for the past 2 days. i always log on to play The Reincarnation, get so involved...then 4get.

anywayz...2day's school was a half-day...so it was quite fun. Mrs Smith made us stay back for a while...a few days when she first said this i thought it was going to be a lesson n she was very unreasonable...but then as it got nearer i suddenly suspected something...

she n Mr Shahrom bought us a cake! actually it was a cake for the 3 Jan-bday boys, Shi Min, Derwin, n Bryan Tsui. i think our FTs might actually buy a cake for every month...in which case...THEY ROCK!

b4 that, we had Chinese...where we "lau yu sheng"...Leon was acting like a big fat glutton...koping all the abolone...n we didnt mix the ingredients very well, so in the end a lot of biscuits were left over...in fact the biscuits r the nice things. the quizzes n SMS competition were...just for the prizes (sweets) haha. Ms Sung bought a lot of Yupi Gummy Burgers n other sweets...yay

then old Rosythians went back to Rosyth...met a few teachers, ate in the canteen, n played soccer in the parade square. Then Mrs Elaine Low, the party-pooper that she was a decade ago, came along n "reprimanded" us. how sad. then every1 was split about going to watch movies, gonig to Chester's house to play XBox, or going to LAN. unfortunately no one except for me, Kaiyu, Kieran, Wee Ping & JingXian brought change of clothes.

then for some unknown reason Wee Ping went home, n Kaiyu decided to watch movie. so the 3 of us remaining changed n were getting ready to go LAN...when the bunch of losers who wanted to watch I Not Stupid 2 returned, obviously having a change of mind. Kaiyu STILL refused to join us for LAN, so we juz went to NetForce @ Kovan (after much confusion with the bus routes).

i have no idea wat that gang did for the rest of the afternoon, since me n Kieran were the ones with soccer balls -.-

wah LANning there damn fun. my 2nd time LANning only, but its totally diff from the first time when i went to Goldhill/Novena. There, the volume was very soft, n the place had around 40 computers. This one every1's speaker was damn loud, i didnt noe how to turn mine down, so i used tissue earplugs. the owners wanted the atmosphere, probably. oh yar, the place had at least 80 computers. yap, 2-storey mega LAN.

we played DotA first, i 1 v 2 Jing Xian n Kieran, was trashing them, i could have juz fed on Kieran until Beyong Godlike, but i didnt want to, so there were at least 5 times he was like running BESIDE me, n i was typing "run!!!". anywayz, bcos of that, i lost in the end (they play pushing)...

then played some CS, n went home. btw, the cost was $2 an hour...cheap man.

Softball during PE was so funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we were playing of course, n trashed the other team 8-1 i think. we screwed up so much, but the point is, they were even worse. here's the typical situation that was happening:

1. Some1 from my team bats n runs.
2. the opponents catch the ball after 10 secs.
3. the person has stopped at first base already, but seeing how pathetic the opponents r, continues running to 2nd base.
4. after catching the ball the opponents pass it to the base my teammate is at.
5. my teammate juz stands there for fear of being caught all this while.
6. more batters come out, same things happen
7. now the first person is at base 3. the opponent catches the ball n throws it to 1st/2nd base/3rd base
8. if the opponent throws to 3rd base, it will b futile cos the "guard" at 3rd base will have a hard time catching the ball n by the time the person run 1 round already.
9. if the opponent throw to 1st/2nd base, the presence of the guard might stop us from running but the guy at 3rd base will still score -.-

anywayz Jeffrey n Paul were so funny, in 2 separate rounds they let 1 of us score already, so they thought it was all over n started arguing with their team, n while they do that the person at 3rd base sneaks behind them n scores. 2 people score -.-

MEP was not bad, Ms Goh quite kind. played soccer during the 10 mins break with a paper ball...n formed a string quartet with Gerald, Jon Shin n Ben Wee. I will b 2nd violin so that i won't lose marks for not cueing, which im not very good at. however Ben Wee wants to play EinemKleinem, which i strongly object to because:

1. It is too common n well-known, so if we dun play it well = death.
2. It is too repetitive n boring.
3. All the parts r very easy to play, might not get high marks for technique.

that's it...trivia like arranging DotA LAN on Fri/Sat might come true...

juz went to Mr Paul Lim's blog to see his response to my tag concerning the "take our thumbdrives for a proj last year n didn't seem to return" matter. n was surprised to see it right at the bottom, almost lost 4ever (which was wat happened the first time, so this time is the 2nd time i asking). shows how active his tagboard is...with people like littlechicky dropping by.

anywayz -.- his response was get monitor to see him, the tagboard is not for school stuff...ok...but aren't teachers supposed to return pupils what they have marked? especially if it costs $2.50 and the petrol cost to go to Sim Lim Square or wateva is even higher?

back to the title...oh yar. 2day me, Joshua and Shanghai were playing "pictionary" on DotA heroes/items...n of course Joshua's drawing was horrible so couldn't guess anything. mine's worse thats y i only guessed. also discovered that 8 people in total play DotA...which is good enough for LAN.

During English Smith juz insisted on keeping the Wednesday dateline for ERP...n so i was about to insist on my plan to tell EL HoD if by tomorrow she still havent change...n sure she did. came in during lunch n told Leonard...i seriously dun get her problem. y cant she tell us seriously, properly n save us all that scrambling to libraries? either she wants attention/fame in the school, or scare us to work harder.

Soccer lunch so funny...our side trashed the other side 10-1...n it would have been 15-1 if not for us arguing among ourselves who to give the goal to when 5 of us r against 1 keeper. problem is quite obvious here...opponents don't defend. they could have put up a very good fight...

History Risk game: Green eventually won cos the game is so bloody short term (FOUR TURNS ONLY)...wtf juz camp in australia, get 5 troops reinforcement, then chiong out. IMHO Mr Shahrom's extra points to Middle East, India, China etc. was imba cos the 3 of them r in the same area. take all of them = 10 extra points. also, each army remaining n each territory was only 1 point each, meaning i'd rather camp then waste troops on territory. failed to have the foresight...all bcos the stupid group leader Leonard sitting with other groups, never discuss.

MEP got Goh Meei Yuun as teacher...at first dun like...but maybe she's friendlier than i thought, only no one can be less strict than Hazel Shen.

Maths project really worrying...can't find any info at all...maybe i should listen to shi min n state obvious/nooby applications like bombing with coordinates, GPS -.-

n then RE...at first i planned on having Geoffrey...then Haiwei came along so i wanted to take him in...then Shi Min asked me so i also wanted...but then Shi Min didn't want Haiwei...n Geoffrey got another group...then Terence didn't have a group...then Thomas Ou (lol) came n joined...so we didn't want Terence, so the 3 of us DotA group. worrying thing is wat topic to choose?

2day was supposed to recite poem...i prepared already but then suddenly Mrs Smith said muz memorise. like Andrew said, she had only said memorise is better...then she suddenly twist the facts, as always. anywayz as a result only a handful of people recited, n they all had problems with the memory. im gonna do badly, memory or not.

during lunch Jiehao's shin got hacked by some1...i know who he is but if i tell...things can get violent. apparently this guy was angry at something Jiehao did during one of the lessons...dunno wat happened but Jiehao's shin got cut n lots of blood. still he continued playing soccer, n that wasn't dangerous enough, he met Mrs Smith at 2:15 (end of lunch liao) along the corridors, shirt tucked out, holding the ball. i thought it was disaster...but luckily smith took her time to walk in after him.
but another disaster, he left his wallet at the astroturf. lol i think no one will steal it, i lost mine 3 times already. havent heard from him...

then RISE suddenly switched to 4:30 last minute suddenly change...played some boring, slow pieces. n Mr Sze obviously likes to make RGS Band girls take the bus here, wait for 15 mins, play for 45 mins, then go home. that's quite troublesome...

sry for not posting for days...although no one except KC comes here.

reason is cos Thursday night got SNYO...read through some very hard pieces but it was OK. that lasted until 9 +

then on Friday had RISE until 7+, then after i got home i 4got wat i did.

then yesterday had YO in the afternoon from 1:15 to 5, n went for Shylock from 7-10

then 2day had theory class from 2-5

wah...im dunno whether i can keep this up for 3 (or more) more years. especially YO, on thursday night, when i get to sec 3, my MEP will b thurs afternoon, then my whole thursday cant do homework.

anyway...the big Shylock drama. on wednesday night i suddenly remembered i had YO on thurs night, so i panicked cos i only had a few choices:

1. Skip YO without excuse letter
2. Skip YO, ask excuse letter from Mrs Smith, so might get killed
3. Skip Shylock without telling Smith (this is 100% suicidal)
4. Skip Shylock on the excuse of YO (very high risk)
5. Switch tickets with some1

the next day i intended to ask Smith about 5, then 2, then 4, then 1, then 3 (1 after another if the previous plan fails)
but when i asked her about switching tickets i kinda got screwed already...but luckily after a few hours everything was sorted out cos Ryan of 2K needed a switch. Mr Tan (EL teacher of 2K) very helpful...

anywayz all the trouble for a boring show. it turned out to be a 1 man show, not juz 1 actor, but 1 director. the same person doing everything. so of course it would b more boring than expected. musicals (like the admiral's odyssey) are so much nicer.

after so many days 4got wat else there is to say...ah got trashed by Sec 3 GEP at soccer again on Friday. now the white raven (reincarnation) is at war with 3 other guilds...so i try to b on IRC as much as possible...but its hard...n when im there, very little people are (all western) u can count that as being bz too

our Art teacher is...erm wats the name...nvm. i think she's stricter than Mr Teo but not fiercer. those r 2 diff things. anyway 2day during art had to divide into groups...n wei shen was acting like an asshole. say he want to b group leader cos he dun want shi min to be, then when he realized leader need to present, he back out. a full-fledged joker...

during recess the whole astroturf got taken up by sec 3s n J1s (leave RI still come...) so we played with sec 3s for 10 mins. of course they pwn us...especially jerome n zhemin...mainly cos no one except me n james stayed back 80% of the time. 10% cos some people were missing...like Jie Hao n Kenneth.

after recess was science, viewed a REAL video of male/female reproductive systems. Interesting but not in the sick way...except a lot of people were talking. lucky still can hear.

n then...ORAL COMM. at first thought it seems like disaster, but then we discovered out teacher this year isn't so bad. of course not Mr Jeeris, does he seem "not so bad" to u..."project ur W-OICE!" -.- he's Mr Yeo n likes to joke a lot...so thats good, but also quite strict, which means i have a 50% chance of failing...cos public speaking is my No.1 fear

lunch same as recess...got pwned by sec 3s again. except this time, stupid Jon Lim was on our side. nothing to say about his good piano playing, but his soccer sux. he's bottom-heavy n thats y everytime he does a stepover (or rather TRIES to do) he juz trips or gets past by shoving.

then it suddenly started raining...so we all ran it. but crap, it stopped a min later. wat a waste. i went to queue at the van n some idiots were mass ordering...so I n Thomas queued for 12 mins for getting a chicken pie (which is nice). was 1 min late for science class but Ms Quah was later. another lesson on reproduction...

yesterday played against shi min (lich) with lion...early game he pwn cos he got soul booster almost immediately...so my ulti was useless. but mid-game i pwned cos i got dagon n concentrated on searching the river for runes n backstabbing. he focused on farming SO...late game i got uber-pwned, cos he was super-rich n had guinsoo/scepter - 200 dmg

Sharon Xu was not around...so a Mr Wee took over computer studies. funny thing was, when Aileen Chor asked him wat his name was, he rolled his eyes for a while, put his hand to a chin (in a thinking way), n finally said "Mr Wee". It was like he 4got his surname...

But he was quite fun...let us play and EDIT game-maker games like pacman, 1945 etc. saw other people having fun multiplying planes to trash the computer but i played the "original" cos couldn't bother to find out how to edit. 2 bad that will b the last lesson with him...

For geography we took up the challenge...off the air-con for all geog lessons for the rest of the year. actually that's quite easy, i dun mind offing for ALL lessons...maybe cos im thin n feel the cold (except for tests)

recess was sad...astroturf, semi-D, dry half of the field was taken up...could only play at the far semi-D. bcos of that, i was like 30 secs late for mrs smith's class...shouldn't have gone to the toilet to change. actually she went in at 11:29...but u should know that if u r later than her, u r late o.O

CLE will never have story-telling/game sessions anymore...Mr Shahrom is fun but not as fun as Mr Law. He seriously does the CLE lesson for 1 hour, which is totally ridiculous. bcos, all those sayings that made all the peace-makers/freedom-fighters famous were all common sense. i could say "intelligence has to come with good character" when i was pri 3 lor. so, MoE/RI juz takes all these stuff n turn it into 1 hour of boredom.

im not saying that these values r wrong, they r definitely true, but y the hell spend 1 hour on it??? it's all common sense n probably shouldnt go further than P4 in the education system.

lunch was even worse, raining with full queues at dining hall/food vans. dun think the dining hall will go bankrupt now. as for the food van, i went at 1:45, found the queue stretching to astro, went back at 2:05, n it was only 5 people shorter. by the time i got there the food was gone, but luckily i had only queued for 1 min in total XD

RISE was fun side-reading...n the food from RJ stall 2 rox...black pepper pie, chicken pie, pizza, apple tart, brownie, ice cream....................................................then got 1 of the more boring violin lessons

our science teacher's (elaine quah) is not bad...quite tolerant and knows how to joke also. teaching biology module...so 2day's lesson started off "Reproduction in Man" >.<

izzit pronounced "kua" or "chuah"? speaking of chuah...saw ms chuah in a pink shirt n with golden-brown hair >.<

yay Ms Sung our chinese teacher, as kind as ever. i haven't handed up my 10 "good sentences" though. then after her lesson Mr Mustafa made a mistake n came in during recess >.<>

during RE had a briefing on what we doing this year. yay, can choose own groups n topics!!! a lot of lame stuff were said by some teachers...until a practical teacher (4got name...something like Yak S----) went up to talk about some geography projects we could do. sounded interesting, n with 6 k prize, but definitely hard to do.

after school played soccer...n some mainstream boys were quite irritating...

RISE performance at atrium - i screwed up like fvck. accidentally pulled the bow too far, pushed it back UNDER the string n wedged it between 2 strings. stuck there, so i had to use 2 hands to yank it out...omggggg. n remus's E string broke halfway

then Mr Sze had a damn long talk (1 hour) with the Sec 2's about future...to buck up for SYF. as if i had thought of it b4...its all up to this year's recruits.

Dining hall food was quite decent (o0), $2.80 for 2 slices of fish (around size of palm), fries, fried rice, cream of mushroom, n a bowl of juice with fruit inside (dessert). dun think they will close down cos sec 1 orientation muz have ordered a lot food :)

well...not really normal

for english what we really need was what Mrs Smith had to do as FT. a lot of admin stuff n briefings...including one on an English/Lit trip to Europe!!! that's damn exciting, but unfortunately i dun want to, n probably can't, go. firstly, its damn expensive - $3500. secondly, it takes up 2 weeks of the June hols. which means that i cant relax at all n once i get back its school reopen. thirdly, MEP has a trip to Vienna (yay) bsides, only 60 places. i expect them to be filled up soon.

of course, Jie Hao got screwed by Mrs Smith again...for making excuses like the trip doesn't suit his taste. actually he juz needed to say he wasn't interested n wanted to spend his hols relaxing, which is an honest an acceptable answer. but at the end mrs Smith fierceness deteriorated (as usual) n even made fun of Jie Hao.

PE did nothing but run 3 rounds (with me slacking) n take height n weight. height wasn't so good, i've only grown 2 cm, but my weight increased...should i b happy? will b updating my profile...

food from the new food van is quite good. yesterday i bought noodles n a stick of 3 siew mai n it only cost $1.70. 2day was even better, nasi lemak, 1 siew mai, 1 otah, n baked beans for only ONE FIFTY!!! much better than the disgusting dining hall. why? if u can remember i seemed to like it...but now i dont. for one the daily set meals have changed to a disgusting pasta...which has damn little sauce.

i hate the food, but i hate to see the place close down n lose money : (

wow today was damn fun. the beach-cleaning only lasted 40 mins out of the predicted 2 hours, bcos the stretch we were given was so short. in the end we had 2.5 hours to play soccer, eat n drink, throw frisbee.

soccer was so fun...only thing damping my mood was Jie Hao who kept pumping the ball so high n more importantly, so OUT. like failing to show off...n Brandon Chen from my old school/class...he just suddenly walked onto our playing area n started "getting into the game" without permission. actually i have seen him do that several times in school already...i juz couldn't believe that he would go this far. our FT Mr Shahrome played with us 2...he was quite good. unfortunately later most of the teachers including him, Mr Mustafa n Mrs Smith were quite left out of our games...

1M vs 1J unofficial inter-class soccer result: 1 - 4 trashing

RISE not bad, cos Mr Sze not there to scold XD. Remus n Kevin conducted us to play the piece on Friday for Raffles Trail. it was quite horrible, n we only have 30 mins on Friday b4 the performance to rehearse with Sze. no regrets though cos Jon Lim was cracking jokes all the time.

got one time Zhaohan walked in n Remus said "oh look its Rachel at the door" trying to get him out but he didnt believe. n then a few mins later Remus REALLY saw Rachel this time. So Zhaohan muz have been jacked...but i think Remus got it by fluke anyway.

omg have to stay until 7 PM for raffles trail...late shift :( i dun see wat use i can be of anyway...

Last Day of Holidays

its the end of the year. 31st december isn't the end of the year for me, rather its the last day of the holidays, cos the hols really round up the year for a memorable experience.

so with the end of the year comes the start of the next year...

2. play The Reincarnation daily to support my guild in war (this coming Wednesday!!!)
3. play DotA every weekend of Euro Bnet, hopefully with classmates

haiz finally pulled myself away from DotA n The Reincarnation to come n blog.

from 5th to 9th Dec i went on holiday to Malaysia. 2 days in Ipoh, 2 days in Cameroon Highlands, 1 day driving.

nothing much in Ipoh except Lost World of Tambun, a water theme park.

Tube Raiders, 4 different tubes that have different elements of surprise, or u can say, fright. 1st tube is totally open air (half-tube) n has a lot of spirals until the end, with a steep drop. 2nd tube is not open air n has a lot of sudden turns. 3rd tube (least scary) is again not open air n has a lot of water jets bumping ur tube float during the ride, n at the end has a steep drop like the 1st. 4th (scariest) is not only not open air, its totally opaque. that means, it damn dark inside n u cant see where u r going. even if u close ur eyes, it wont make a diff -.-

Twin-something...4got name. its juz a damn high n steep slide with short horizontal stretches, that makes it seem like u r going to careen off...until u reach the end, where u slide back downwards for about 5 m.

other than this theme park, Ipoh hor fun is supposed to b damn famous, but i never got to eat it anyway, cos there was this super-cheap n tasty restaurent that we went to everday. the hotel was sucky...its top floor was flooded with rainwater n its gym & squash courts were unusable. the only thing working in its gym was a pull-up pulley n a water dispenser -.-

P.S. the tour agency said that hotel, Syuen, is the best in Ipoh. not surprising, since the streets r very filthy.

Cameroon Highlands' Hotel much nicer, The Equatorial, again best in the area. this time, with fully equipped n working gym...billiard tables...indoor swimming pool...tennis/squash courts etc.

only attractions there were all sorts of farms (tea, honey bee, rose, strawberry, watercress, cactus). of course, every1 talks about the strawberries in Cameroon Highlands, n i have something to say about them too. they r as small as longans n sweet-sour. which means they arent worth it since they cost as much as Australian strawberries.

good thing about Cameroon Highlands? the weather...so fun to drive up/down the hills with car windows down...however at night it gets so cold that it isnt surprising the hotel rooms dun have air-con.

P.S. was partly responsible for spoiling my father's camera worth $300. luckily its a cheap one...its all the stupid rose valley's fault...

SNYO camp tomorrow...sad that it has a fixed schedule!!! that means, designated times for ice-breakers n other lame team games. total free time only about 2 hours a day...have to leave that for soccer n arcade (the machines at Aloha Loyang chalet r quite cool).

A few more days to freedom...

RISE camp was fun...not only bcos there werent any thefts (phew). the games were also better...n rehearsal hours were shorter. of course...this means trouble on the musical side...

predictions - no. of hours more it will take to play each of the pieces satisfactorily

adds up to 10 hours in total...in actual fact we only have around 9 hours left...INCLUDING concert day itself : /

SYO rehearsals also keeping me busy...eg. tmr i have RISE from 2 to 5, then YO from 7 - 9:30

on the bright side...5th to 9th Dec is my holiday, to M'sia (truly asia) only though.

DotA is so damn fun...i totally stopped playing Maple.

omg haven't posted in 11 days. hey wtf? i thought i didnt post for at least 2 weeks...time really stretches during hols. that means my blog isn't so dead. (ty imposter for ur comment -.-)

firstly about games...can play DotA now after reinstalling the Frozen Throne. I'm almost completely stopped playing Maple now...still at level 23. However i predict that i will get bored of DotA by mid-December cos there r 60 heroes...which i can play all in less than 30 days. the only thing that might keep me playing DotA is LANning with friends (Joshua, Shi Min etc.) If not, im due to return to Maple until i can get Civ 4 (r0X)

so far i like some heroes n hate others. heres a list (the other next time):

1. Lone Druid - summoned bear is damn tough...very useful for destroying towers SOLO early game
2. Slayer - all spells r very damaging...slaughter creeps. ultimate is damn good for killing heroes early game
3. Juggernaught - omg the bladestorm is already 400 dmg at lvl 1. mass slaughter creeps. ultimate good for killing heroes
4. Silencer - rain of chaos absolutely rox...summons Infernals good at destroying towers. ultimate can stop heroes from casting spells almost 4ever...(hey but mine seems to b the old version or something. checked the website n the spells seem to have changed for this hero.)
5. Keeper of the Light - Mana leak absolutely rox...makes sure that heroes can only cast 1 spell. ultimate is quite cool
6. Pandaren Battlemaster - ultimate rox...the 3 pandas r almost impossible to kill n dish out dmg like crazy
7. Dragon Knight - "Breath Fire" 's area of effect dmg damn huge...Dragon Blood makes regenerating very easy...dun need to keep running back to fountain
8. Tormented Soul - the best mass slaughter of all. all 4 spells very damaging, might even kill heroes
9. Chaos Knight - Chaos Bolt rox...stun for 5 secs if lucky. ultimate quite good for fighting in battle without getting injured.
10. Lich - another mass slaughter. dark ritual gives him almost unlimited mana supply
11. DOOM BRINGER - there's a reason for the caps. this guy's ultimate is BEYOND GODLIKE!!! at lvl 4, its 2160 dmg. i dun think theres any way u can dispel the Doom effect. u will watch urself die over 18 secs...unless u have more than 2160 HP at lvl 16. which is unlikely. this guy's HP also r0X!
12. Tidehunter - very tough with Kraken Shell. slaughters creeps with passive Area of Effect ability. ultimate has damn huge area of dmg
13. Bloodseeker - normal creeps will take 4ever to kill him cos he gains HP with every enemy he kills. can take on more than 3 waves of creeps with Bloodrage. ultimate kills easily if the opponent is noob n keeps moving (more movement, more dmg)

on to music...String Ensemble is so screwed. only 5 rehearsals left...the main problems? wind players out of tune, coming in wrongly. string players, not being able to play, playing too loud. guitar soloist, havent even come for 1 rehearsal

RISE camp next monday...hopefully doesn't become a training camp. but maybe Mr Sze should call for assessments n sectionals...then every1 will practice.

the only reason y i look 4ward to holidays cos it means no school work. it is NOT because there isn't any school. in fact, i like going to school...it fills up the boring hours of the day. now i can really feel myself getting bored everyday...

RISE: Mr Sze scolded us...first time for this concert...but not unexpected anyway. asked me twice whether i practised...as if i didnt lah!!! in fact...2/3 of my practice time is for RISE/SYO pieces...cos i find damn technically harded than my teacher's -.-

9 hours of practice a week during hols... + 3 day camp with 9 hours of practice. actually, i dun find this a lot! it still leaves me with the whole afternoon/morning on mondays/wed/fridays n the whole day on tuesday n thursdays!!! which is then allocated to 1-2 hours of Maple, 1 hour of Reincarnation n Blogging, n 1/2 hour hanging online doing random stuff (like chatting n checking e-mail) of course, not to 4get 45 mins-1 hour to practise (violin)

which means i have the whole night for TV!!! speaking of which, i recently watched some movies. i will b judging them according to some criteria...

doing well in Maple now...have over 50 k, but i could have 12 K more!!! i sold 2 gold ores for 8 k each instead of 14 k!!!!! got ripped off...i got confused by some advice (eg. Kenneth's n Ben Lee's)

selling all the other ores in my previous list...no garnet sry i noe a lot of people want it. also selling Leather n Pig Heads. bought a Emerald Staff for 18 k...it increased my damage by a lot man. now i have to find a bloody way to get to dungeon...cos its guarded by iron boars n fire pigs which deak 70+ & 100+ dmg to me respectively...

On Monday night went for MEP High-scorers concert; it was better than I expected. the only thing spoiling a seemingly perfect concert was our horrible singing of "Thank You for the Music"...Ms Goh's stupid idea. *heard that Ike n Rayner purposely blasted (as in, ya noe, shouting?) away to further spoil the song*

Very Good Performances
1. Jonathan Shin - piece played juz nice...melody brought out but not too much...impressive display of "jumping chords" in both hands, 4 octaves apart!!! pro.
2. Rayner (bass) - AMAZING!!! like...playing so high up that i tot ur fingers would b covered in blisters thx to the coarse/thick string)...using ur THUMB to play notes without slipping on the fingerboard...jumping notes over half a meter of "string"...how the hell u get it in tune???
3. Ike - PROOOOOOO...of course lah...concertmaster of SNYO. jumping harmonics...pizzicato n playing simultaneously (or so i tink)...perfect intonation, even at the high F (17th notes above middle C)

Nicolson's virtuosity (MEP vocab) was good...but like my bro said, I "dunno how to appreciate this type of music"...cos i felt the lack of melodic lines made it boring...

Level 15 in Maple now...leveling up faster n faster, which shouldn't b the case, cos more n more EXP is needed to gain higher levels. but i tink this is due to the fact that im becoming a "Bolt Magician", one that trains Energy Bolt n not Magic Claw. Bolt Magicians have less difficult at lower levels but at high levels they r weak. until then, good 4 me.

i have a feeling that this holiday's camp will b as usual: more practice than play. EVEN THOUGH Sze promised us only 3 hours of rehearsal.

playing Maple like crazy...but still level 13 only. i keep running out of mana...n sometimes make dumb mistakes n get attacked by a blue mushroom or iron boar...in either case i will die in 2 hits. any1 who wants to give me mesos/items, go ahead ^^. on the other hand, i have around 7 different types of ores to sell...including opal, steel, orical-something (pink), mithril, n sapphire.

Second-last Friday

"The Trio" was elected as prefects!!! Quite unbelievable, but im not saying that i dun support them. although i voted for them i thought that they wouldn't b able to convince the rest of the school. looks like im wrong, for Kevin Mark Lee, Yu Hui n Lionel. bastard singerz...

during comp studies we did a typing test...seems like i have improved from 59 words per minute (at the start of the year) to 60 words per minute. but i dun really noe how i type so fast, like in the middle of it i suddenly realized i wasn't looking at the keyboard at all. maybe become habit liao.

during Geography watched some clips of the movie "Dantes Peak". Like those in Romeo n Juliet, the characters here were quite dumb...like some children trying to swim in a pool of acidic (3.48 pH) n very very hot (boiling)

water. During English we went through some of the poems in "Expressions 2005"...they were damn good. Leon so pro, 3 of his poems were published, but unfortunately Mrs Smith made a mistake - 1 of them was under Barry's name : / AND Barry's own poem did not get published...maybe next year. The paper quality is so good...for $3 its really worth it.

Then Jie Hao used Chinese in front of Mrs Smith...after she scolded him he said some Chinese words again. That was it. She made him stand in front of the class n sing a song in Chinese, but either he didn't want to or he didn't know how to. So when the bell rang she brought him to staff room to sing to teachers (quote "lunchtime entertainment" - Smith)...dunno his fate.

omg haven't posted in 3 days... been busy with The Reincarnation n CCA.

String Ensemble practice has been quite fun recently...but once it gets nearer to the concert, Mr Sze will start throwing tantrums as usual...but now he keeps joking or telling irrelevant stories. made me sit on the ABC box...its a wooden box...so that i wouldn't lean back on the chair while playing. David once sat on it too...^^

after practice on Wednesday i went to J8 McDonalds to eat dinner...with Ben Yap, Wee Ping, Kern Choong, Brent, Shi Min, Samuel n Terence. Poor Ben Yap spilt his whole pack of fries n Coke on the floor because he was talking on the phone using 1 hand...but more surprisingly, a McDonalds staff came up n offered him a new packet of fries for FREE!!! omg...but Ben Yap didn't even say thank you -.- maybe he was still in shock

After dinner was the concert-going for sec 1. we were watching Cincinnati Pops Orchestra...never heard of it b4, but now i tink its famous in Singapore. THE CONCERT TOTALLY ROCKED MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Themes from Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Mission Impossible, Goldfinger n a lot more!!! + Songs by a good baritone (4got his name)...including MEMORY FROM CATS!!!!! that song is one of my favourite...n the orchestra/singer performed it very well. 2 other excellent songs were the Olympic Fanfare (the famous tune that is played when the Staff of RI enter assembly) n "My Heart goes on from the Titanic"...both with nice themes.

to get an idea of how popular the orchestra was, 70% of the concert hall was standing up clapping at the end of everything. sadly, i was one of the 30% that didn't cos it might b embarassing. AND, they performed THREE encore pieces...wh00t...in the end we came out 20 minutes late.

for once i tink the majority of students who previously hated classical music will now have a better impression...

Today (thursday)
watched Romeo n Juliet during English n Chinese (so skipped Chinese)...it was in a modern settin : / it was damn nice n quite touching...except that the fights were quite unrealistic. one of the guyz would take out his gun, spend 30 secs reloading it n spinning it around his finger, then stick it back into the thing-that-holds-a-gun (in his belt). y cant they reload their guns way b4 the fight, n shoot the enemy immediately without saying stuff like "u want a piece of me?" Juliet was also damn stupid...when she woke up from the effects of the potion, she took her own sweet time to touch Romeo's face...so Romeo drank down the poison (suicide) b4 he realized that she wasn't dead (it was only part of the plan to escape police)...the ending was quite sad cos Romeo realized that his love wasnt dead, so he had taken his own life for nothing...while Juliet shot herself thereafter...

Prefect Elections Forum Session...full of crap. firstly, the same old questions r asked, n the prefects will give the same old answers, that is, "answers" THAT DUN ANSWER THE QUESTION. a good example will be the answer that goes "actually all prefects organize events, but i want to listen to the student body" in response to "what activities would you plan if u became a prefect?" n the questions r not that good in the first place.

1.5 hours of boredom...had to content with poking Kieran.

then the Inter-Class Rugby Tournament...even worse. we didn't know half of the rules bcos Mr Chow didnt tell us, so we were totally confused. got pwned...won 0/3 matches.

y we were confused:
1. theres a difference between tapping and rolling...n we didnt noe when to do wat...so often wasted touches
2. when u drop the ball, possesion goes over to the opponent. Mr Chow didnt teach us that
3. only need to touch the opponent with ONE hand

to make matters worse:
1. the civilized rugby that we knew during PE wasnt there, people started play almost immediately without waiting for us
2. the referee was quite kayu n didnt noticed that they passed forward twice which led to 2 goals
3. the opponents were uncivilized n rough. instead of juz tapping, they like...slammed us n spun us around. can't their brains tell that u only need to touch the opponent, no point butting? this is NOT contact rugby

to cap the bad event off, Leonard (the guy who had broken his leg) broke his arm. it's so sad...but luckily he was able to walk away...didn't see if he was in alot of pain though. good luck in recovery...

then there was a puppetry show at Atrium. it was quite unrealistic, especially when they turn around, n u can see the actor there behind the costume. but it was quite funny...n interesting.

bad things:
1. First song...the guy moving his hands...was boring n totally unrelated to the "Cycle of Life" (which is the title of that act)
2. the main actor was a gay-fag that smiles disgustingly, waved/twisted his hands feminely, n hugged people (Jonathan Lee) behind a costume. he's even more gay than Paul Chew!!!

Ate grilled fish at the Dining Hall, but it has deproved from the sweet n spicy version. watched Barry losing to Bryan at chess while eating...unbelievable. how could Barry lose...maybe cos he didnt move his rook but moved his king instead

After that, cut n paste (string ensemble). i was totally slacking, n TRYING to play the tunes of Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 2, Bartok, Academic Festival Overture n Memory. failed badly...but it wasn't like they needed my help. i tink the other people were sitting around doing nothing also...Yiyang had to waste 70 cents photocopying BLANK paper cos we needed A4 paper.

Math & MEP Tests

Math was hard. i couldnt do the worker one and the 711 x 689 one.

MEP was screwed. i didn't practise enough right b4 the test, so i wasn't that warmed up b4 going in...i can't believe it. i FORGOT to shift position at one point, n had to play like...4th finger for everything...that was the worse part...everything out of tune. b4 the viva voce even started, Ms Goh said she would kick me out if i dun come with a pianist next year (if im playing a piece that requires one). how mean, but she smiled at the end of it, sarcastically? wat a loser.

but the viva voce was very good...cos i mugged n could answer the questions...n at the end she asked anything interesting to add on...then i juz talked all the crap about his life n compositions. which was very long.

later Barry (who doesn't have a piano teacher) told me that Ms Goh also told him, if u dun find a piano teacher by next year, KICK. n she also smiled at the end of the sentence...omfgwtfh

slept the whole of last night...so didn't post until now. right now im downloading the patch for Maple Story...couldn't do that for 3 days cos the dumb site sux...meanwhile playing Gunbound. im now Silver Axe only...with only 100 k gold :(

Geography was OK...except for 1 question which is being debated. wat type of rock is shown in the picture??? well, i put conglomerate, n others put sedimentary.

Conglomerate IS a type of rock, but sedimentary is 1 level of classification higher up, although sedimentary is still a type of rock. some1 told me that conglomerate was the name of a rock. OMG -.- WTF. CONGLOMERATE IS THE NAME OF A TYPE OF ROCK. which simply means that it IS a type of rock.

this guy was also very sarcastic by going on an example: "ur name is Jinghui, so is ur type Jinghui?" -.- -.- -.-

3 levels of classification below will probably clear things up:
1. Type of rocks - Sedimentary, Igneous, Metamorphic
2. Type of (sedimentary) rocks - Conglomerate, Breccia
3. Name of a rock - wateva u want. u can call a pebble "Fluffy!"

1. Types of animals - Mammals, fish, insects
2. Type of mammals - Humans, Bears, ...................
3. Name of a human - Jinghui

in this case, that guy was comparing a level 3 classification with a level 2 one. that's very smart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

History was difficult. i dun get how an explorer can have 2 MOST important factors.

I'm getting confused by Chemistry right now. juz learned that "dialysis" is the only way to separate the particles of a colloid. not in our syllabus.

juz learned that 8 high scores from each level of the MEP CT will take part in a concert...omg. isn't that a lot, 32 people, the concert will take 3 hours + + + ? i DUN want to get in...firstly my piece totally sux n is n00b, secondly i have stage fright. OK every1 has stage fright, but i have more ^^

i hope that there was a typo in Ms Shen's e-mail n that its 2 people from each level, 8 people in all.

English & Chinese Tests

haiz...couldn't blog on Thursday some1 didn't allow me to...anyway i studied Chinese the whole night n came upon a website with Animal Farm tips...which i printed out.

today's English was OK...i chose the text-based question and wrote 3 sides of foolscap...think it was OK...should get around 18 marks unless Mrs Smith marks it...cos she will either misunderstand the question n say we misunderstood it, or she will make things difficult by not being generous in marking.

today's Chinese was even OK-er...the marks scheme was a bit screwed up though. there was only 40 marks that could be mugged! the rest were comprehension n cloze passage...which were quite easy. as for the marks, each MCQ comprehension question was THREE MARKS...n the open-ended compre had a lot of marks for simple answers. i tink i have a 60% chance of getting GPA 4.0 for Chinese.

then even better news, revealing History CA marks. i got the highest in class, tied with Samuel! my brochure n assignments were OK, my group presentation was the highest in class, n my individual report was quite high...speaking of group presentation...i did 50% of the work although there were 5 members. GPA 4.0 for CA!

Maths & History & Art

2day me n Jie Hao presented our Maths project on Blackjack Probability...it was OK except that i sux at Oral Comm...hope Mr Mustafa will give us high marks cos of MY further studies. right after Maths i realized my maths file was missing...some fvcker took it n put it under Bryan's table, perhaps in an attempt to sabotage his already-bad reputation. i was about to end the argument with Bryan when he pushed me on the shoulder, that was it man. i totally whacked his little brains out. hmmm...really panicked at the thought of my 10% Maths CA getting lost.

History was hilarious...First Paul took Ben Lee's pencil case n passed it to Terence, who passed it to me, i passed it to Jie Hao, who passed it to Shi Min, who passed it to Joshua, who passed it to Brent, who passed it to Conan, who passed it back to Brent, who passed it to Leonard....................in the end Wei Shen was throwing Ben Lee's stationery 1 by 1 back to his table...n Ben Lee stood up n snatched back his pencil case from Leonard.

Then, there was a huge war of throwing paper balls...Ms Chuah said that our level of destressing humour was very low...of course she being too leniant didn't even raise her voice...on a sadder note, i heard that 1J made her cry n run out yesterday, after insulting her to b a failure. i tink 1J has chased out the most teachers...Mr Paul Lim 3 times.

During Art i was walking around looking at people's drawings, n then i came to Ben Lee. so i juz patted his squishy back (fat) as i left n then a minute later he came n whacked me on the back. the "thump" was so resonant in the art room...ouch. he got scolded by Mr Teo...who asked me if i was OK. strangely, with my defiant attitude, the very painful whack didn't seem so bad...i was so angry that i said "wah so pain". well actually it was supposed to be...but i juz felt a burning sensation.

today's PE was DAMN FUN. 25% bcos my team won, 25% bcos i scored 2 out of the 3 tries which led to us winning 15-10. (wh00t) the first try i sorta darted in between 2 defenders, can't really remember the scene now. it was an easier touchdown compared to the 2nd one.

the 2nd time, i went to the right, met Jeffery n Leonard 2 meters away from me, then changed direction, went past the VERY SLOW Bryan, went round Zhongren who only got 1 hand on me (need 2 hands to stop me). After I went round him some1 chased me for the remaining 7 metres (i tink it was Zhongren of Jeffery), n the final 2 metres i juz jumped n skidded to the line literally. then i rolled over my head twice on the grass n got dirty/itchy. but the crash with the defender was so exciting.

After PE bought pizza for 80 cents from the new food truck. i advise NONE of u to buy it, it absolutely stinks. as much as the old pizza from Wow Wow West.

After school, i ate the Corona Chicken Wing set for the 2nd time, n again i tink it's going to b the worse of the 5 meals. however it had slightly improved from last week's, n is actually worth buying (WOW). Then, Samuel came over n showed us his left-over sauce of the spaghetti. it wasn't even sauce, it was THREE SPOONS OF DAMN OIL. omg that can even make ME fat. i advise NONE of u to buy the Spaghetti, it's nowhere near beating Wow Wow West.

During MEP there was a Piano Masterclass held by Shane Thio (pianist of SSO). Jon Shin, Ernest, Thomas Ang n Wang Zhemin (the ZHEMINATOR) were the performers. it was quite boring, especially Ernest's.

Ms Hazel Shen was supposed to reveal our CA marks b4 the masterclass, but she was late, so we had to stay back for 15 mins. I GOT FULL MARKS FOR CONCERT REVIEW!!!!!!!! wh00t!!!!!! Gerald Sng also got full marks, same as Semester 1. That means he has already added TWENTY FULL MARKS TO HIS TOTAL SCORE (even including sem 1).

i got 74.4 overall for Semester 2, that's not bad i tink. i calculated n now i have to get 36/40 for my MEP CT Practical. that's very hard, but i might have a 20% chance of achieving that n getting GPA 4.0. if i dun, i will miss 4.0 by a few marks *sobs*

there's such a big difference between 3.6 n 4.0...GPA is screwed up. y can't there be a 3.8 for 76-80 marks???

House Champions!!!

Bayley is CHAMPION HOUSE 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wh00t!!!!!!!!!!!!!
actually i was quite surprised to hear this. not bcos we hadn't won in more than 10 years, but bcos i tot Morrison n Moor were trashing us. although we had won Track n Field, i didn't hear much of other activities besides House Carnival Sports, Drama Fests, Computer/Maths/Science Quiz, Website, n a few others.

i was surprised to see Hwee Leong "Longpants", the new Head of Human Resources (i tink), displaying whole lists of our achievements, at least 4 pages of transparency. i didn't even noe that there were so many activities, let alone the fact that we won more than 10 first-places.

but the last House Meeting of the year was boring. Prize presentation for the whole hour...sianz. wat a sad way to end a victory, although all of us (excluding me XD) did sing the House Anthem.

i got 34/40 for Comp Studies project! wh00t!!!!!! n u noe what? i totally used a "Dreamweaver MX 2004" template, but still it was tedious making all the content n links. Ms Xu was saying "very good", but my wish of getting high marks for "technique" were dashed when she put a 5/10 there. obviously we (i was working with wee ping) needed little skill in HTML/CSS, but our first 4 sections (including navigation) were all 5/5. i tot the last section, Layout, would score me high marks, cos the template is neat, but only got 6/10. 31 + 3 = 34 (dunno where the 3 bonus marks came from)

oh yar, wee ping totally pwned this project...he didn't even do during the 1 hour of lesson time every week. if he had helped we wouldn't need to use a template cos i believe he's better than me. but waddya expect from him...wee ping if u read this...Too Bad 0>0

my 2nd time eating Chicken Chop at Dining Hall, it has improved. the portion of chicken has increased by 25%, n there's a lot more sauce now. now i tink its totally worth it to buy the Western Set meal, unless that piece of chicken is STILL 80 cents.

during Chinese, i discovered that i might have a chance of getting GPA 4.0 for Higher Chinese!!!!!!!!! wh00t!!!!!!!!!!!!! its around a 60% chance btw. i never knew that my CA for Chinese was so high, seriously, cos i still owe 3 book reviews. i tot i owed 2 newspaper reviews, but then i realized i was mistaken, YAY. now all i have to do is hand in the book reviews, my file (5%), n i will probably get an additional 7-9 marks, then i need to score 33.5/40 for my test. which is quite hard, but i believe that i can do it.

after soccer during lunch i hurriedly bought the last pau sold in the new food truck, it was vegetarian for 50 cents, n tasted quite nice. then Mr Mustafa (maths teacher) wasn't around so we spent the period doing a Maths Revision exercise, n i couldn't do it. the only sad thing for the day. however i eventually finished it after 1.5 hours with the kind help of people like Lum Jian Yang from 1J n Joel Tan of 1M. finished the day off with a fun soccer match (using MY waterbottle as ball) against Kieran.

b4 that, i chased Kieran in the dark 1Q classroom (lights off-ed) n i scared him out of his skin when i ambushed him. i chased him out the door, he went in the back door, but b4 he did that i had already crouched behind a table. he tot i was coming after him through the back door, so i ran swiftly n banged a table n he screamed man. he admitted that he was freaked out n almost had a heart attack. i feel so sry for him -.- i have experienced these type of things b4, n u can't describe how scary it is, all i noe is, not every1 who reacts like Kieran is a scaredy-cat.

there is 1 "man" (he's gay) that is a fvcking sissy though, Paul Chew. no balls to chew.

Campaign Speeches & Lack of curriculum & Food

2day's prefect nominees were all damn good...im voting for the Andrew guy, Yeo Shang Xuan, Kaushik, Zongyi, some other mainstream ppl i 4got. basically that's everyone!

Physics n English lessons r now so empty...Mr Lim n Mrs Smith have absolutely nothing to teach! We finished heat transfer last lesson, n would have finished it 3 lessons b4 that, if not for the time wasted by Mr Lim chasing us out of lab, writing funny stories, making Jeffery do pushups n discussing Dining Hall Food. that's his smartness...he noes there's nothing to teach..."Tactics, comrade, tactics!"

Mrs Smith is even smarter...give us 3 full lessons already for group discussion. n a lot of time spent on scolding n commenting on assignments too. we finished Animal Farm 2 weeks ago, n would have finished it 3 weeks ago if not for her "time-management".

y can't both teachers juz give their periods to other subjects like Maths??? i seriously suck at Maths. but then again, Physics was damn fun cos we discussed Dining Hall Food n Campaign Speeches...while English is juz plain show.

Dining Hall Food was damn nice...it seems to be improving over the week! the management quite good...within 1 week they have adapted to our unreasonable demands reasonably well. Today's set was grilled fish...it came with a nice sweet n spicy sauce, dry coleslaw (hardly any mayonnaise but surprisingly tasty) n potato wedges! the potato wedges were the highlight, every1 was buying them in plastic bags. i bought some too n scalded my tongue cos they were hot. the set didn't come with any rice...a welcome change.
